There is no DUI or DWI in Wisconsin. An OWI is the same thing. They are just more lenient on first offenses

Romo was issued three citations in connection with the incident -- operating while under the influence, unsafe passing, and possession of an open container in a moving vehicle -- which were obtained by ABC News on Wednesday, pursuant to a public records request.

According to the open container citation, a deputy said they observed an "open bottle of an alcoholic beverage ... on the passenger side of the vehicle" during an inventory of the vehicle conducted after the vehicle was towed.

So, I'm curious, did the open container have any alcohol still in it? And, was the bottle found in the front passenger side, or the rear passenger side of the vehicle? Was it observable from outside the vehicle, or was it under a seat or something?

If it was observable outside the vehicle, then the lady cop should have spotted that, before taking Tony away to his FBS (Field Sobriety test).

I watch a lot of hockey and am always seeing ads for East Side Mario’s and Boston Pizza up north. For some reason both of those as names for Italian restaurants crack me up.

It would certainly amp up the smell of alcohol with an open container in there. Interesting that they say the bottle was found after the tow. Why wouldn't they do a quick look before a tow? Leaving it to the tow truck driver increases the chance of contaminating any evidence, etc. Interesting all around. What's funny is I joked that Romo could have stolen a bottle of champagne from the tournament. That's still a possibility now, lol.

Is Boston Pizza a U.S. chain? If not, it makes no sense to have it here, lol. It was founded by Jim Treliving, who is full-blooded Canadian, and whose son screwed up the Maple Leafs so badly he got turfed before he even got a name plate on his door! East Side Mario's has pretty much been the closest thing we had since Olive Garden left, but they're just meh. If you want real Italian food here, you have to go to the Italian municipalities to pretty much find it. With all the restaurants/retailers that have come up here from the U.S. over the last few decades, we may as well be an American state. Oddly enough, though, Americans in Buffalo have the shortest trip to their closest Costco by crossing the border in Fort Erie or Niagara Falls, but I think they are finally building 1 in Amherst, lol.

Bills Mafia is a thing here, being only 2 hours to Orchard Park for many, and it's easier getting Sabres tickets than the Leafs

Since a clown on here thinks I live and die by watching cop shows, a good lawyer for Tony will argue the tow truck driver planted the bottle for the cops, lol

usually the inventory is done prior to the hook, to eliminate any such problems.

Here's what you don't understand. There's a list long of physical tests, blood tests, breathalyzer, set distances, fixed clues, Time, etc.....None are 100%, but that's not how it all works. Which you aren't qualified to make a judgement on. Next you'll blame fatigue.

All cops are not created equally. Just like in every profession. You have ones who are competent and ones that aren’t.

Wisconsin, amazingly, doesn’t even consider a first time OUI a crime. Not even a misdemeanor.
