I love this player for what he has overcome. Not to mention that we needed a player like him in the worst way forever, and it’s my favorite position on the field because of how important it is, yet underrated because it’s not part of fantasy football. Well, it’s part of my reality.

Having said all this....

The Cowboys still had Quinnen under contract for two more years so there really wasn't that big of a rush to get this extension done now. The timing and the sudden extra cap space at least makes you THINK they could be opening up room for a trade acquisition.

It's a great price for him to add 3 more years to his deal.
