Have we become so used to Jerry that anytime he does bare minimum we praise him?

I didn’t mean to make it sound the way you perceived it, I meant it for an honest question, if you’re not happy about something like he despises the head coach and Jerry, why do you still support something you don’t like,
Not trying to jump on the guy but that poster has a tendency to be sensitive. What you asked didn’t warrant the response he’s giving. Maybe he misunderstood you not sure.

He asked a serious question,
So I asked a serious question, I wasn’t trying to be derogatory. I was trying to understand.
But you’re correct I believe he misunderstood what I was asking
Because there are a lot of people here that do call people fake fans, which is baloney, your fan as you want to, who am I to tell somebody how to be a fan

when Jerry does logical GM normal stuff that every other GM does or should do we get giddy

Genuinely curious, and this isnt to spark an angry debate.

This is a genuine question from someone that has seen this happen time and time again and wants to gauge why this happens here all the time.

Have we as a fanbase, become so used to Jerry and his family failing, that any time he does the BARE MINIMUM of his job description, we praise him for it?

Are we this conditioned by his terrible off-seasons that when he does literally the bare minimum of signing a guy on time or using FA the way everyone else does we celebrate it like we just won our 6th?

Why do fans who are justifiably upset and taking a wait and see approach ostracized so much on this site?

I am excited about the moves that were made, but I am cautiously optimistic mainly because I have 0 faith in the head coach of this team.

Can they prove me wrong, of course, and I will be the first to admit it, but can we stop praising people for showing up to work?
You have this crazy outlook that somehow you as a fan count for something, you do not. It’s all about the $$, always was always will be.

Because he's a real fan? Because he doesn't need to create this protective cocoon around his fandom by pretending the team is in good shape every year?
I think you perceived my post wrong also
, I don’t use real fan, fake fan narrative
I was asking a real question, just like he did, I was trying to understand the opposition

See, I could perceive what you just said, and saying, I am a Homer, and I take what they give me and I like it,
And that’s not the truth at all, I am totally disappointed with the losing season, I’m totally disappointed how the GM operates, what am I supposed to do about it?

I think there’s way too many people that call people fake fans

I am an individual, and I think for myself
Only I and I alone choose what I like or don’t like

I dont know why you would need to understand that a true fan of a team doesn't bolt when things aren't good.

Fandom isn't a choice. You just are.

You choose which team you support ,it’s a choice
I live in New England, I choose not to support the Patriots

Every year there are people like Rambo that claim Jerry has changed, stepped back, and that Will McClay is the real GM due to hopium, but you already knew this and are being dishonest about it as usual.
Yes there are a handful of people but they are drowned out by people like you who do nothing but cry in every thread about how they have no chance b/c of Jerry.

And then why would he ask the opposite ,how I understand things, you’re only looking at one side of it I’m trying to look at the entire picture and get a perspective,
He asked the question LMAO

They do it because the "you can't sit with us at lunch" approach still works on you plebians. Who gives two spits about what the positivity pikers preach to you about what a "real fan" is supposed to be? If y'all want to give them the power over your peace of mind then that would be on you.

More people on this site post while looking over their shoulder than necessary, IMO. If more people just stated their peace, defended it when they felt necessary and moved on, it'd be better for all y'all's mental states. IMO, of course. Disagree? Well then you suck. See how easy that was? Lol.
I can live with this

I don’t necessarily need Jerry to quit, or sell the team.

I’d honestly settle for him shutting his mouth and not insisting on being front and center, but that’s the only reason he does this, so all my hoping isn’t likely to matter.

There’s only one thing that’s going to get him gone. I don’t really much look forward to that day. It’s not as if things are going to change instantly.

Maybe Stephen’s siblings will want to sell, but I don’t see that happening. Spaulding will be running the whole deal in our final years.

Let’s say someones been raised by a bad parent. That usually goes one of two ways when that person becomes a parent….do things the exact same way, or the complete opposite. Hopefully Jerry’s children and grandchildren will choose the latter.

Fans are just hopeful when change is made. Some need something to get excited about and don't want to feel like you do. Some talk up the offseason moves pretty much every year, including the team.

I mean, here's what No-Schott was saying about Kaiir Elam at the end of last July ... after he made an "impressive" interception in training camp.

"He's one of those guys that he's got elite feet, elite change of direction, but I see him growing in the mental side of it," Schottenheimer said. "I see him talking and studying splits with [cornerbacks coach David Overstreet II]. Change of scenery helps a lot of people."

A real fan, I don’t even know what that means, I don’t use that real fan, fake fan baloney, I asked a serious question, if you’re not happy about something why do you stay with it, if it’s a car sell it
You’re going to deep, and I’m not that deep lol
I'm not going too deep. I'm answering your question and you keep refusing it.

You're suggesting he is NOT a fan of this team (because he does it differently than you!). That's why I have to use "real"...it's just supplementary, you don't have to go too deep into it...lol.

I never used the word fan, I asked why he still supported the team, that’s a totally different question, that was perceived incorrectly
Or it wasn’t because you wanted to see it that way I don’t know
That’s why I asked the question
