TRADED Cowboys trade for OT Broderick Jones

Probably. Schotty was not happy with him, and we still have a decent draft pick in return as well. I like it, and, if he's at least better than Steele, then, as long as we are able to stay healthy and not have penalties, the Cowboys should be a damn good football team this year.

Honestly....we basically are flipping a 3 for a 4......and giving up a 6th for a former #1 pick that got screwed over in Pittsburgh.

Exactly, and at least Jerry's being proactive, for once, with a glaring problem (Steele).

6th goes to Steelers not cowboys, but yeah you’re right. Value overall is difference between a 3 and a 4 plus a 6th, so maybe around a 4th rounder overall

If he can play and stay healthy it could be a good value.

But this trade certainly confirms what many Cowboys fans could clearly see - we have a problem at OT. Broderick Jones is a curious acquisition because he has been underwhelming for a first round pick.

I think the Cowboys would have been better off picking up someone off the wire.

He’s definitely coming in to be the swing tackle for now. I’m Optimistic our third will be a late pick and with bengals and ravens looking strong the Steelers 4th might not be a big gap from our 3rd. Klayton Adams has an eye for OL talent hope it works out!

Not for a 3rd and 6th (minus the 4th back) hes going to be more than emergency and probably 2nd string at worst
