More than two hours since the deadline to cut rosters to 53, seven teams still haven't announced theirs.

I am guessing the fans of those teams are using social media to figure out who was cut anyway. Still strange though.

Dolphins are planning on having the 1st overall pick and are trying their best to tank and rebuild without actually showing it. Their roster is worse than an expansion team's right now. Honestly its Devon Achane, Jordyn Brooks, and 51 JAGS.

They didn't use a 3rd. They traded back for a 4th and gave a 6 and then got a 7th for Thomas. Jones is better than Thomas and they have the same amount of picks that they had yesterday morning.

Those "better options" would have cost more than a basic pick swap from the 3rd to the 4th. Assuming said options were even out there. Teams aren't giving away starting tackles and a player of Broderick Jones' ilk is the best Dallas could have done.

Dallas really only gave up a 6th to get Jones. They traded a 3rd to get Jones and a 4th back.

I count that as a pick swap. Because in terms of pick volume the Cowboys only lost one.
