Good point.I think what they did was check on who wanted him and protected him on the original 53 and then waived him after those teams locked up their rosters.

May be some truth to that. You know that NFL teams check around the league to get a feel for the possibility of losing players. They know who is liable to be claimed. It's not perfect because it only takes one team having interest, but I'm sure they gauge it as best they can.I think what they did was check on who wanted him and protected him on the original 53 and then waived him after those teams locked up their rosters.
Coaches are looking more for who can operate the offense in full and move the ball consistently against top level defenders.I will admit one thing. I’m a Milton fan and was surprised when he was released, so with that being said I’m more shocked no one claimed him. I thought he’d be scooped up in a minute. So I admit that it is a telling statement no one claimed him. I didn’t see that coming.
No really because if they want him, they can release somebody.I think what they did was check on who wanted him and protected him on the original 53 and then waived him after those teams locked up their rosters.
same

And the fact he went unclaimed means nobody wanted him bad enough to even do that.If he went unclaimed, he doesn't have to make the choice to sign with us. He's a free agent and can go where he wants.
He hasn't been claimed. He's been a free agent for about an hour now.Somebody should have the info on whether he’s been claimed or not by now.
Source? He hasn't been claimed. He's been a free agent for about an hour now.
There is surely a grapevine network. Friends talk. People do favors. It's how humans are, the NFL is no different than anyother human endeavor.May be some truth to that. So if he is a FA then does he renegotiate a new contract if he signs with us on the PS or signs with another team or does he keep the same contract he got as a rookie? Cause he could be negotiating with other teams or Dallas right now.He hasn't been claimed. He's been a free agent for about an hour now.
