Holley: That's the difference between Dak and Romo

If you were going to go for the tie, why not kneel down and run the clock down to 2 seconds and kick the fg.
With our D, to guarantee OT, what should have been done. Just like I would not trust my reds in baseball, with a 5 run lead going into the last inning (with that pitching staff), I don’t trust this D, with a lead with less than a minute left to try to protect a win.

He's right.

How did that work for Romo and his playoff wins and Super Bowl appearances. Neither one, Dak or Romo, are franchise QBs, that can win games no matter the talent or coaching obsticles.

Roger would audible from so many Landry calls it was ridiculous.

Aikman even being Rob Cop would get some kind of playoff injection and he would run and pass to Super Bowls.

As far as Romo and Dak....You are what you are.

Look up the definition of game winning drives used to come up with those numbers.

Those numbers are very inflated and include many drives that were not true do or die, last chance, now or never, in the clutch drives.
Either Way Romo and Dak are more similar than you want to admit

And how did this difference between Romo and Prescott show itself in the playoffs?
One quarterback lost in spite of his performance.

And the other quarterback lost because of his performance.

Dak was dreadful in the playoffs in divisional games. Romo wasn't.

Yeah, you had no idea what you were watching. Pretty clear.
It's obvious your FOS. Pretty clear.
We need a new acronym...not TDS...but RDS

What a silly, deranged post
It's pretty clear for you too.

Dak deserves criticism but you Romosexuals need to stop trying to rewrite Romo's history to his favor. He was a loser on the field and with his recent arrest, looks like he's loser off the field too. He beat up on bad teams just like Dak does.

Are you part of this fanbase? Just checking.
Yes. Of course. Only an ignorant person would ask me that stupid question.

You hang out here even though you never have anything good to say. I've been a Cowboys fan for a loooong time, through thick and thin. So I waste my time here because I'm a fan of this team. You probably have no life in the real world, so you choose to spend your time here with others like yourself, on a team y'all don't support. It makes absolutely no sense unless you have no life.

No go troll someone else because I am not the one.

Ok, Mom.

They listen to Holley, Dez, and TO
They all take Romo over Dak.

And off the field, if you want to go there, at least Romo didn't walk out on his wife and kids.

This is so overblown. I don't think Schottenheimer literally meant to just snap it and throw it away. He meant don't take any stupid chances, to throw it away if you don't like what you see.

This is the problem now with coaches trying to take bullets for players. The age old wisdom is for leaders to take responsibility, but the media and fans take this literally and think he really meant, "Just throw it away, don't even try to score here." Of course he wanted to score, otherwise they'd just kick the FG on third down.
yeah, he should have waited another second or two for sure, probably based on coverage he figured he would be covered (and Lamb fell on opposite side) so he threw it away. It was bad all around

You guys remember in a pre-season game where Romo snuck it into the end zone? Maybe against the Raiders? He went against Parcells in the pre-season. I remember they panned to Parcells and I'd never seen a more "mad+happy" coach. I still remember that. It was before Romo was the starter. Romo needed 2 or 3 more years with Parcells. I still think his story would be different. Not a huge Romo fan but I do believe that.

Great teams play to win. Great coaches instill that into their players' thinking. Great GM's instill that into their coaches' thinking.

Jesse Holley is the biggest hater around. I can’t stand him in Hangin with the boys. All he talks about himself and how the Cowboys suck. I’m sure he’s one of the haters here on a regular basis.
He’s not a hater. He just calls it like he sees it. I watch most of the cowboys podcasts and not too many of them keeps it real. They stay finding the silver lining or moral victory’s. They wait til players leave to really speak their mind.

Like Zeke. His last two years here before the released him, all the fans kept saying to give Pollard more of the carries and most of these guys were dancing around the subject not being objective and then Zeke finally leaves and they all change their stance saying “yeah Zeke been done for a while. I dunno why the cowboys kept giving him the main role “. Same thing with Schultz, Diggs, even LVE.

The commanders don’t have nearly as big as network of media as the cowboys but they are objective wand will rip the commanders a new one whenever it’s deserved. They’re not afraid to criticize the gm, owner, or starting qb.

I always said what happen RG3 inDc would never happen to a Cowboys qb. Same thing with the ravens.. they were calling for Ray Lewis to retire. Because he fell off that bad his last years.

East coast media is way more real and honest with themselves then what I hear from these cowboys media members.

I don’t always agree with Holley but is precise his realism and objective when it comes to the boys. It’s only a few that will Call it like it is. Him, Nick , sometimes Nate Newton, Ambar, and Stanback

It’s a new podcast with James Washington and Nate that don’t sugarcoat anything. Might be my new favorite one

Career Splits:

Dak When Trailing and under 2 minutes left

94/183 (51%)
1155 yards
5 Tds
8 Ints
62 passer rating

Romo When Trailing and under 2 minutes left

130/202 (64 %)
1487 yards
14 Tds

103 rating

One of these QBs wilt under pressure and one thrived.

Strawman argument.

Romo not winning playoff games or Super Bowls is not the topic of conversation. The overarching point is our current QB:

Either isnt trusted by his head coach (or) has no cajones

Ok, Sparky.

All teammates of Romo. LMAO!!!

I bet you did the same.

Go troll someone else.
