This is absolutely true but you might have trouble getting people to agree even when advanced metrics show itMaybe they don't throw to his side that much
The next gen stat that addresses this is
Target Rate per Coverage Snap. This is what shows how often WBs throw into a CBs area.
Porter is top 3 in this metric.
In 2025, his receivers were only targeted 66 times the entire season. That’s less than 5% of all targets.
When QBs did throw at Porter they had a 56.2 qb rating and threw zero TDs
So, not only did they throw less in his direction they actually avoided throwing at him.
Parker may need to let him press a bit more than he does Bland, but Porter is head and shoulders above Bland when it comes to talent and abilty.
All this is actual data based on tech.
Nextgen stats use chips in players shoulder pads and the chips are sending out a pin many times a second and reviewers all through the stadium capture it. Every player, every second, is mapped. The ball is also chipped and tracked. All of this gets crushed by computers to figure exactly where every call goes and who’s in the area. It’s really fascinating technology.

The fact it's a 2028 pick....to me makes it a no brainer. That's a pick almost 2 years out. You make that deal in a heartbeat. Chances are...we recoup that pick in a trade down in the 2027 draft with that Packers pick.
