Back to back weeks 2 3 and out drives late in the 4th quarter!

They aren’t going to score every drive.

It’s not possible.

Defense has to stop allowing 30+ points.

If the defense continues to keep allowing so many points. Winning 50% of your games is about the best you could even hope for.
Maybe our fans have a warped perception of offensive success because they routinely watch opposing offenses thrash our defense.

Honestly, get out of here with this mess.

The offense has punted 7 times in 4 games and constantly carries this team.

How about the defense get started earlier, make more stops, and possibly intercept a ball for once.
Te be fiar, the offense had 5 drives for 6 pts in the 1st half of the Texans game..

The Cowboys are third in fourth quarter touchdowns this year. Top ten in yards and total points.

There’s always room for improvement but fourth quarter offense is not a problem I’m worried about.
This offense usually plays better when they are behind.

About 25% of NFL drives result in a 3 and out.

The cowboys had 3 4th quarter drives Sunday. They resulted in drives of 14 plays (TD), 3 plays(punt) and 11 plays (td).

This offense is not the problem and fans believing they magically need to play perfect in the 4th quarter is odd.
Because they listen to the Dak disrespecters.

We have the least amount of Offensive possessions in the league. We also have the most points in the league.

There is no shade you can throw at the offense currently

Last two weeks were almost carbon copies of one another: Defense gets a late stop and Cowboys offense goes 3 and out both times before the final drives. Should be 2-0 in those games.

Closing out games was a major strength from this team in the past. Not only were they able to run the football when the defense knew what was coming, but they also made aggressive passing calls to close out games. It seems like Schott goes super conservative playing not to lose in these situations. With a struggling defense, he cannot give an opposing team more chances to beat them!
Yeah, we really need to learn how to keep our foot on the gas.

Yes!

He’s definitely gone ultra conservative far too soon.

I think the naysayers of your post don’t understand your premise. Against the Ravens and Texans the defense made 4th quarter stops that gave the offense a chance to either run some time off the clock or give the Cowboys a two score lead. The offense is good but it can be better. The offense is the reason why the Cowboys are the current favorites to win the MFC East.
