Good GMs follow a strategy of “if it seems inevitable, do it now”

The Jurgens trade is an example.

Jerry is a sunk cost GM, combined with FOMO. It’s a horrible combination.

I love me some DMO. So does Jerry. He's a great kid that loves being a Cowboy and always wears a smile. Unless it's career type injury he isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He will probably take 2-year deal worth 15-18 million to come back and show he can play a full season at full strength. He wears that big beautiful blue star so I'm supporting him through thick and thin.
