Or it could be a combination of player failures and coaching failures? Like when fans want to blame the coaches for the enormous bulk of failure. Coaches can help to a degree, but the guys on the field decide most of the outcome. Belichick is just a great defensive coordinator without Brady. All the best coaches had the best players. It’s a combination, but Brady proved the greater ingredient when he immediately did it with Tampa Bay.
