How to move forward at qb?

Its crazy that you call football stats irrelevant, because the last time I checked, football stats are used to determine:

1. Heisman Awards
2. Drafting placement
3. Contract negotiations, bonuses and incentives
4.All Pro and MVP selections
5. Hall of Fame inductions

Which one of these situations are the stats irrelevant?
On this board......many dismiss the fact this D is horrifically bad, and typically attached with "poorly coached" and "don't play hard" truths from former NFL players. The relevant stats about this D become irrelevant.......blame the QB instead.

This isn’t an anti Dak post. I think every qb has games like last night. The difference is their defense and coaching isn’t atrocious and maybe it can help them still win.

I think Dak is a top 10 qb but like any other guy outside the top 5….one who needs help around him to win.

Reality is though. He’ll be 34 next year. With one year remaining on his deal. The window to win with him is closing… and closing fast.

In a deep qb draft….Shouldn’t we start to prepare for life after Dak? Consider drafting a guy and letting him sit for a year?
If a good prospect is there then you take him. But our first end pick is not likely to be a QB worth that pick. But I like using a middle end pick every couple years to see if you can find a guy who slipped thru like Dak

The overwhelming majority of Dallas fans realize the defense is terrible. Historically bad so far this year!!!

But many of us also realize Dak plays well vs mediocre defenses and consistently struggles vs good defenses.

We need a QB who plays better against good defenses period! Dak was confused most of the game vs Tampa Bay! Not acceptable for a QB who has been in the league for 11 years.

Captain-Crash......but we been that way for an additional 19 years. And please don't cherry-pick some select games on behalf of our "friend" I know you don't like Dak, but don't pull some games from the past, some favorable stats, or some found heroics. We still ringless.

The Cowboys need to be smart (if they can); if nothing is achieved with Dak this year, it would be time to talk to him and plan a trade for next season, as they could still get at least a good first-round pick for him. Dak is still playing at a high level, but there is no guarantee he will continue to do so in future years; it is time to trade him for the greater good—specifically, a trade after June 1, 2027. Dallas needs funds to invest in other areas; no team with the highest-paid quarterback has ever won a Super Bowl, and this won't be the exception. A balanced team and time are required—time that will only increase if the rebuilding process doesn't start now.

Dak is a coach killer. Owners dream they can get more out of him but this is it. Game-manager Dak and high-octane Dak are both chokers in the end.
lol jerry just said in a radio show that dak was the best qb in the NFL !! lol
Said he stands tall, whatever that means, and so with jerry thinking that , the only way another qb plays here is if dak is hurt.

Dallas with jones boys is not smart, but your right, and it would be good for dak too, he might actually get to a sb on another better run team.

That is salesman Jerry selling his below average shoes at exorbitant prices.

Stop -- this is an-anti Dak post.

Good QBs can go long past 34.

You are looking for a reason to trash him
