Why nothing is on Dak and the offense

What? You mean you don't want to read Encyclopedia Britannica responses to every topic?
Ive begged him to have mercy. I told him nobody reads all that. He said he doesnt care. He must love to hear himself talk. Can you imagine his wife...while he rants gibberish for 10 minutes. My wife rolls her eyes just hearing me type
.

If he had to type all that... it wouldnt be that long.

When you score can be almost as important as how much you score. The Dallas offense early in games is giving the ball back to the opponent way too much. We know the Dallas defense needs help in keeping them off the field would be a huge help.

Philly fans whine about Hurts. The're ready to see how bad they are without him :muttley: But hey? They have a defense. So maybe they'll keep it close. :muttley:

Every player in the NFL tries to get as much as they possibly can so they ALL choose finances over the team according to your reasoning.
No they all don’t, and you clearly didn’t grasp my point, which with you isn’t surprising.

When a position’s market compensation reaches a point where the cap impact significantly affects talent retention, then the tension between financial maximization and on-the-field success maximization I mentioned becomes a contributory variable a player has to consider. Dak making say, $300 million over the course of his career, but leaving saying $50 million on the table that result in a player like Micah Parsons resigning isn’t the same as a backup LT maximizing his financial potential and not have a negligible effect on talent retention. So no, your premise that ALL players out themselves above the team is a poor and uncharitable framing of my point which you clearly didn’t understand.

Plus, front office’s other than Dallas work also incorporate financial flexibility tools available to them relative to working the cap, which Dallas does not do.

the urban legend about Brady taking less is over done; he really did not take that much less. BUT he did, and the difference with the Pats also was they had a very competent FO that used that money well. If Dak had been the team player he claimed to be, he would have gotten Jethro to agree that for taking less, more would be spent on FA's at the areas of need.

I agree completely with all of your points except for the last sentence. Why would anyone leave 40 million on the table for the worst GM in the N.F.L. to squander? No mere mortal is getting a SB in Dallas while GM Jerry draws breath. "Take the money kid."
I don’t disagree that Dallas’s diminished credibility as a legitimate championship destination could plausibly factor into a player’s decision to sign or remain here.

But that comes with an interesting caveat. Such a player would essentially be acknowledging, at least privately, that this franchise is no longer a serious long-term championship contender. The calculation then becomes, “If I’m not realistically going to compete for championships here, I might as well maximize my financial compensation.”

And that means the player is, in some sense, participating in the charade. Indirectly, certainly, but not unknowingly. He recognizes the dysfunction, understands the franchise’s competitive limitations, and chooses to prioritize the financial rewards of remaining within a system that continues to enrich everyone involved despite its failures on the field. That’s not a mindset us fans typically want from our star players especially.

Agreed. But that is the dysfunction any player in Dallas has to contend with. So you might as well get paid max contract money. Jerry is terrible at his job and he can never be fired. No single athlete sacrifice or team of athletes buying in can overcome that grotesque fact.

Dak has had one -maybe two bad games. I seen all the top quarterbacks suck it up this season. I think some in here think Dak is Jesus Christ. Perfect  Some Dallas fans are just crazy.IMO. Same when we had Romo. Romo or bust.Maybe if your boot leg owner/GM hire better coaches both quarterbacks would of been better. I know the team would of been. Watch Milton win a SB before the Cowboys. I get pissed off at Dak to sometimes. But I know without Dak. This team would be darn near win less the last 10 years. So basically a 10 to 12 win team every year-no playoff wins. Or a bottom of the scrape team like the Browns. Your choice.I look at it clearly from the facts vs the unrealistic emotions.
Except that what you just posted is a complete lie. Cowboys are 13-13 in games not started by Dak since he was drafted. But don’t let facts get in the way of your fragile emotions.

Teams who have scored 30 or more points 3 or more times this year:

8 teams

Lions (4 times)............ 3-2
49ers (3 times)............ 5-0
Bills (3 times).............. 4-1
Panthers (3 times)...... 2-2
Chiefs (3 times).......... 4-0
Ravens (3 times)........ 4-1
Seahawks (3 times).... 3-3
Cowboys (3 times)...... 2-3

We're the only team that's below .500....... altho 2-2 and 3-3 compared to 2-3 can change really fast and it's not a huge insurmountable lead.

But the issue is mostly the defense. You can pick at a few random offensive bad plays.... the Dak throwaway on 3rd and goal, and the Ferguson tipped ball INT...... but a few bad offensive plays compared to like 100 bad defensive plays..... the defense carries the far greater blame.

If we scored 30 or more 3 times in 5 games........ our record should be 3-2 case closed. The only one who has scored 30+ more than 3 times is the Lions.
these are just stats out of context lol ,meaningless.
How do you explain the TB game ???? Didnt score 30 in that, in fact it was below 20, 16.
Several times dallas has been held to 6 points in 1st half.
And yet you say the offense is not at fault and is A ok ?? wow.

Every time dallas off goes 3 and out that puts pressure on our weak defense.
The offense while at times is good, played a part in each of the losses.
And yeah the defense is weak, so what ? The O guys know this going into the game ,it isnt a big surprise or it shouldnt be.
