this team can not close out games, they should have stepped on the pedal after Lee's TD. But instead of taking over all the momentum, they let Rivers march down the field and get a FG, the come back after the half and take the lead for good. That is common for Garrett coached teams, play conservative on the road, and play not to lose. I was totally expecting this type of performance, and said so on several threads this past week.

That's how I felt until this season. This season seemed a bit different. Now it doesn't. This one is a full-on disappointment to a guy that has learned not to get disappointed.

This team had a chance to do something different than preceding teams... be something different... But instead it simply left a skid-mark in its collective shorts.

We'll, I am pretty much over the loss already. Those days of depression after losses are finally over for me. Congrats JJ ....... You won.

No joke. Nothing will ever change until the entire Jones family is gone off the earth. Years and years of losing, i expect it already. Just the way it is while Jones continues to rake in billions.

The thing is, is that it is something different every loss, this time it was the defense and no big plays from our wide outs. Inconsistency usually means there is a lack of leadership, that is something this veteran core of players has been critcized for over the years, I don't know what the answer is and I don't think the Cowboys organization has it either.

Yep. Last game of the season determines if we have a spot in the playoffs. I have seen this movie far too many times and the ending never changes. Why do I keep watching? Insanity.

I'm 51 years old. I'm been there for 5 SB wins, 3 SB loses, I've been there for 1-15 and during that entire time I lived and died with the Dallas Cowboys, good and bad. I hate Jerry Jones. Not as much for what he has done to this team in the past 15 years, but for what he has done to me. I'm numb, I'm dead. I sit and watch every game without any emotion anymore. When they do good, I immediately look up in the upper left corner of the tv for the flag. When they do bad, I PRAY for that flag. I have become the most angry, bitter, miserable Dallas Cowboy fan in history....and I owe it all to Jerry Jones. Best owner in sports......worse GM in the history of sports. Lombardi couldn't coach this group of misfits to championships. There is NOTHING positive about this team anymore. Even Dez, who is by far, our best player, has that one critical drop every game. It's only a matter of time before Lee, Carter, or Murray are hurt again. There is no hope for this year and any year in the near future. This team is dead, and so am I.
