Stephen Jones starts radio show on KRLD by faulting defensive line. Didn't get it done against chargers.
Stephen on Mo: 'I think it's time for the injury thing to leave the scene.' Says it's time for him to make plays.
Stephen telling KRLD they need better from Mo. Putting it just like that. No mincing words.
Stephen gives no indication on radio that help is coming for defensive line. Right now. These are their guys.

More

Stephen on KRLD, says more than Dez an Witten need to make plays. Says Romo ought to give Dez chances even on double coverage.

Stephen Jones on The Fan: "I think it's time for the injury thing to leave the scene (with Claiborne). He needs to step up and make plays."
Stephen Jones on Morris Claiborne: "We've got to have him go out there and compete and make plays. I think no one wants that more than Mo."

Somebody needs to say something to make players not feel entitled and a little nervous. Fear of losing your job is the ultimate motivator in pro sports

Isn't this the coaches' job?

And this from last year:

"Mo Claiborne's got to get out there," Jones said on Friday. "The times he's been out there, it's been impressive. But he certainly can't make the club in the tub, if you will. He's got to get out there. It's time. We got to start having a mentality that we're going to play through things.

"You don't ever see Jason Witten missing practice, and he's going on 10 [seasons]. He just won't miss. So, we got to have the young guys step up and play better."

This is the problem with our team an organization....all we do is talk. We don't deliver when we need it. We have small blips on occasion, but in the grand scheme of things we have lots of excuses, lots of descriptive terms like "secret sauce" and "catalytic players", but at the end of each season since Jimmy left, all we have is a big bag of disappointment. I would prefer that tough guy Stephen go to the locker room, walk up to Mo and tell him like a man that he needs to play better. Stop being a radio show tough guy. If he isn't playing up to snuff, bench him. And that goes for anyone on the roster. If Romo is having a 5 interception day, bench him. Tired of all the tough guy talk and the same losing results.

Has Stephen ever really gone after a player like this?

It just seems odd that he's so frequently telling Mo to step up.

Me thinks Stephen may not have been as keen on the trade as the elder Jones.

I think our only hope is jerry and Steven are secretly involved in some kind of illegal activities that will either bankrupt them and/or land them in prison.

That, sadly, is our only hope to see the Cowboys on top in our lifetimes again

Glad to see Stephen be more vocal this year. When we get players who underperform they need to be called out.
