Jared Allen is available for a 3rd

I would'nt do it, not sure Dallas can even afford to pay him at this point. With the Cap issues this team is facing they need to depend on the draft even more now.
 
Before Sunday I would have said no. But seeing the lack of a pass rush, I'd be OK with anything. He's the same age as Ware, so that's not an issue. NOt sure if Dallas can afford even that though
 
No, this team is not a player away. They are several players away. Their drafts have been better the last 2-3 years, they need to hold on to draft picks. They arent going deep in the playoffs with or without Jared Allen
 
No. I'd rather trade fro Ngata but he's not available. What about Marcus Spears? :p

No, I would not do it simply because I have heard on this board that Ware is completely washed up and we need to trade him, more times then I care to remember.

The truth is that in one more game played, Allen has exactly 1 more tackle and .5 sacks more then does DWare and he's played a year longer in the NFL. How can we like Jared for a 3rd but want to trade Ware for anything we can get?

For a 4th yes if he will sign a cap friendly deal. Not for a 3rd. We need to draft DL and OG with first three picks
 
If the Vikings are asking a third, you might be able to talk them into something like a 5th and 7th. I'd be awfully tempted to do that.
 
I would certainly think about it. We brought in a guy back in the '90's named Charles Haley who helped a bit.
