Lets talk about the Raiders

We play down to the competition. This will not be a cake walk. We need last minute drives to beat the Vikings and Gnats.

I'm expecting the same this week. We should be able to beat the Raiders, but it will not be pretty ... and it may come down to the final drive again.

Matt McGloin has played better than Pryor, certainly as a passer. Rashad Jennings has run the ball extremely well, so we better shore up the run defense.

Believe their pass defense is much improved, other than Philly game.

I've caught them on Sunday Ticket a few times mainly because my buddy is a huge Raiders fan. I thinks it's a close game, but we need this more, and I think it helps the way they lost Sunday. They were right in the hunt for the 6 seed, and allowed the Titans to win late. Crushing defeat.

It never ceases to amaze me how over confident our fan base gets after a win.

The Raiders are a bad team but so are we

Actually the Raiders have been overachieving a good bit with a patchwork roster. They are scrappy and if they are taken lightly, they can easily keep the game close and pull the upset, especially if McGloin continues to play over his head.

They are doing the things that we are having issues stopping right now, namely being able to run the football. The main advantage we have is that they are very beaten up in the secondary and are having problems rushing the passer.

We better be ready to play.

It sounds like they have packages for Pryor, they are going to have veldheer back for the first time and will play in a rotation.

Macfadden will play behind Jennings, who has 553 yards in the last four games.

Lot of guys with ties here and they are a game out of the six seed so they are going to come lay it on the line here Thursday. A loss here is killer for them.

I'm hoping for a lot of Points by our offense - to show we are back to scoring.

Yes, but we whipped the Rams. So who knows?

I think the Raiders are on that level, but Dallas hasn't played as well as it did against St. Louis.

This is the kind of game where if it's played on Sunday at 1PM on CBS and most of the country doesnt see it, its probably 35-20 Dallas. But as a prime time game, Oakland is gonna come out thinking they're in the Super Bowl. This is their second and final national game for the year. They played Denver earlier on Monday Night. I dont believe any of their Sunday 4PM games have been televised nationally. All regional games.

Good news for those that dont like Joe Buck/ Aikman. This will be a CBS game so probably Jim Nantz and Phil Simms.

Oakland is going to think they are in the SuperBowl?

I thought last week was the SuperBowl, at least that is what the Giants kept telling me.

LOL...............I love how we are everyteam's SuperBowl......................wouldnt think a perennial 500 team that has not even made the playoffs in 4 years would be getting this type of respect.

Well, at least they are giving some respect. Hell, even Cowboy FANS don't give that much respect to the team!
