Be Honest Is This A Playoff Team

The offensive talent is playoff worthy, but the way this defense is playing should keep the Cowboys out of serious playoff talk. Not only that but the Cowboys appear to still be highly inconsistent and lacking mental toughness. My guess is a winner take all against the Eagles.

And who do you have 'taking all'?

Scoring 14 points vs a bad Bears defense when the game was competitive is playoff worthy? Imagine if the Cowboys faced the Seahawks or the 49ers or the Panthers in the playoffs..

I will be the first true fan to say...No. Do I hope they make it...Yes

True fan, in the sense that I cannot help but watch...but now more than ever, I am more of a fan of their uniforms than the actual players. They may actually make the playoffs, but I do not see them getting very far if they do.

Lies

Philly - all defense

Rams - run game and defense

Giants - turnovers

Reds - turnovers, short field on kick returns

Minny - turnover swung momentum at the beginning of the third qtr.

Lions - the only reason we had a chance is because of defensive turnovers

Chargers - Romo's offense scored 14 points.

Chiefs - Romo's offense scored 16 points

Where would we be w/o the great romo factor?!

/sarcasm

:as bad as the defense has been, I wonder how much it would help if Romo's offense actually picked up a third down every now and then?

It also wouldn't hurt if jason Garrett knew how to manage a game. But that's another issue.

just in case you missed it Gameover is in competition for the position of #1 Romo hater.

the Romo factor sure helped this past Monday

scoring 14 points!

another failed student of Football 101 where a historically bad defense would be considered a much bigger factor then a top 10 offense. I mean you would think SOME people would realize that a #32 Defense is the real problem not the #6-8 offense (depending how you measure it)

You want to tell that to Aaron Rodgers, who had no running game (he was the lead rusher on the team for goodness sakes) and the 32nd ranked defense and went 15-1?

The league is such a watered down league talent-wise nowadays that pathetically enough, we actually do have a shot to WIN OUR DIVISION with one of the worst defenses in the history of the NFL. The best teams of today (Seatlle/Denver) are a joke compared to the best teams of yesterday. Bottom line is, it doesn't take a whole helluva lot to make the playoffs, even as a first year head coach.

This division, this year, is a JOKE and there is no reason why Garrett should not win it handily.

I have my doubts he will though. and if that is what it takes to get rid of his sorry ***, so be it.

usual you are wrong. They ended up getting beat in the playoffs and it was because of their D.
