By the end of this week, there may be injury issues for every member of the Cowboys.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant tweaked his back at practice on Wednesday and earned a limited designation from the team for his work during the session. Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reports that the team does not believe it is anything serious, but Bryant’s got a history of back issues that have hampered him over the years.

One flareup occurred in Week 17 last season when Bryant needed a wheelchair to get off the team’s plane after their season-ending loss to the Commanders. While it appears significantly less serious, Bryant joins Tony Romo and Sean Lee on a list of injured players that the Cowboys really wish were healthy heading into this Sunday’s game with the Eagles.

If Romo isn't going, I wouldn't be against them shutting down Dez also if it's a legitimate back issue. Time to look onward to a hopefully healthier season next year.

I hope Dez can go and be quite effective. That would really help out Orton.

Man, the backlash would be epic.

Dez has had this off and on all year. There's no way to know how bad it is but he did have limited practice yesterday.

I hate seeing Fisher's takes on the injuries since he has been spot on all along. He was the only one to call out Spencer's condition when all we heard from the Cowboys was "day to day".

Me, too. But what I hate about Fish is that he seems to relish in being right. Like ok, we get it. You know what you know. But then he hammers us with it. Drives me batty.

Dez was hurt during that Skins game. I remember him lying on the sidelines rolling round. Can't remember now but maybe his shoulder?

The fall on the catch vs the Giants last year, getting wheeled out of the stadium against the Skins in week 17, being in the injury report every other week this season, that is not a result of back spasms. There's something structurally wrong with his back, whether its disc related or something else.

Honestly, the way business is run, I don't know why any of these guys choose to 'manage' the issue, instead of get it corrected right away.
