Remember last offseason when Jerry did everything in his powers to make Jason quit and now it seems like he has fallen back in love with his pet. What is the deal here? Is Jerry really this crazy or should we not believe all this Garrett love from Jerry? Once again I can't make any sense of Jerry just as I can't make any sense of his comments where he seems to contradict himself almost every time.

I think he does.

Jerry's EGO is an idiot... Plain and Simple....

Everyone can see that Garrett needs to go. Plain and simple...

Except Jerry's EGO...

That is in the way.

I guess youre talking about the whole "playcalling" bs, but I hardly think he was trying to make him quit....and yes, SADLY, I think Jerry is going to keep him.

He does because he wants the best for the team he owns.

The Jason Garrett era is just beginning. Count your blessings, we are all witnesses.

Jerry is now having contrived public conversations with respected peers in the Dallas community to justify keeping Garrett, I think that the time out whisperer is staying.

No, I am talking about Jerry firing his brother, who by the way was a very good tight ends coach who was a MEANINGLESS FIRING other than to piss of Garrett, and the firing of Rob Ryan who Garrett loved.

Jerry at least needs to force upon Garrett a Dan Reeves type like he was going to a couple of yrs ago......... to put scheme in Garretts "scheme".

The end of game mngt issues.......maybe another trip to a Duke B.Ball camp will work those out.

Of course Jerry wants Jason to stay. He has done everything to extend his stay. Jerry is going to give it all he has to give Garrett the support he needs to succeed.

He took away play-calling, got him a new DC, said he always wanted a walk-around coach(not sure if true) and this off season, he will firea few other coaches and maybe bring in someone to take over the time management.

Before we know it, Jason's only duties will be clapping and pushing security guards :D

Jerry has genuine affection for Jason and his family, and wants to keep him, in my opinion. Jerry has already made the decision about Garrett's future with the team. It would take something monumental to change his mind in one game. For instance, tf the team were to lay down and die or squander another insurmountable lead, Garrett probably wouldn't survive.

Jason Garrett is probably the worst coach in NFL history.... And I'm being serious. Jim Zorn runs circles around thus clown. I could field a team with Romo as my QB and this talent, with a bunch of run of the mill assistant coaches and achieve 8-8.

Jerry has always wanted to keep Jason.
