He can take credit for at least two of those loses with his chokes.

I can agree with that. Every QB does not win every game. Can you give him any credit for any wins?

(why am i wasting my time?)

Nick Foles was injured half way through when it was close. He out played Matt freaking Barkley.

Ok? Orton threw a pick that wasn't his fault either..what's the point?

Matt Barkley came in at the start of the 4th qtr, and Romo still out dueled Foles in that game whether you like it or not. And if you're going to use the "injury" card, that's fine, Romo played with a messed up back in that game as well, heck he played with it all year.

Orton threw a season ending interception that was 100% on him, Romo did not, they are completely different.

I remember Romo getting outplayed by scrub after scrub this year. But I can blame the defense

Ahh, that explains a lot now, you didn't actually watch the games did you?

I thought Philip Rivers was the AFC version of Romo???

Or is Philip back in good graces again?

yes, granted it was against a top 5 defense and -10 degrees outside.

this is hilarious just the weeks before palmer and matt ryan put up some huge yardage totals vs the 49ers. And hey when we played the bears in that super cold game no one made excuses for us. Kaepernick looked fine to me throwing the ball yesterday .... go ahead whats your next lame excuse. If romo threw for only 170 @home against the 85 bears it wouldnt matter the guy would be absolutely crucified....

Yeah Romo did play better than Foles in that game. It was his worst game of the year, so it isn't saying much.

Orton did throw a season ending pick, but nobody expected us to be in that position in the first place. I have no doubt Romo would have finished the game in a similar devastating fashion.

it wouldnt have even came down to that . With a healthy Romo we score at least 30 points. ( Thats our average @ home) . Anyways How can anyone be complaining about our QB'S? Its just sickening . Our defense was out there breaking records for being so bad and we are somehow hating on a QB who threw for 31 tds and 10 ints ! are you kidding me ? www.footballfordummies.com . seriously we should be having a furious conversation about this horrid defense that constantly blew late game leads.

Is this about Romo or Rodgers? I can't tell with you.

Romo, unfairly or not, is not going to be remembered fondly as a great QB who couldn't win a Super Bowl. He isn't going to be remembered like Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Fran Tarkenton, etc. Tony Romo will be remembered for what he did when the stakes were at the highest; which was fail...

Adjusted for stat inflation, Romo is like the 2000s version of Jim Everett. Great stats, some playoff appearances, but not in the upper echelon of QBs. Only difference is that Romo plays for Dallas and Everett played for NO and the Rams.

Preach on brother.. preach on!

Rodgers played a sound mistake free game. And he made some outstanding plays towards the end.

Kaepernick only had 220 yards throwing at 53% LOL? Receivers were definitely struggling with catching the ball on both sides.

If you think -10 degree weather doesn't affect someones passing game than you must not know much about football.

Oh ya, Romo threw for 104 yards on 55% passing in similar weather....that's absolutely atrocious. But the weather plays no part...yeah get outta here

like aaron rodgers yesterday at home vs the same team?

Aaron Rodgers has a Super Bowl ring. If Romo had one, all would be forgiven...much like it is with Eli, Flacco, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Brady, Big Ben etc.

Romo has one playoff victory while some of those guys have multiple Super Bowl titles.

If Romo gets his, then he will get his "free pass". But up until this stage in his career, he's done nothing but come up short.

Certainly. He is very good against sub.500 teams.

It may be his name, but he doesn't really feel that way.

oh yes i do feel that way. I feel that way about almost the whole organization except #50, #88, #77,#72 and #9. This is a piss poor roster and our ignorant fans over hype our average talent yearly. What i do know is that Troy Aikman Won 3 superbowl titles while never throwing for 4000 yards and never even throwing for more than 25 TD'S. How did Aikman win so many superbowls with those average stats ? Well he had a great defense that would dominate when it counted in the 4th quarter. He had a tremendous OL that protected him ( and thank goodness they did ) because Aikman couldnt do half the things Romo can athletically . He had the greatest RB to ever live. Do you realize how much pressure EMMITT took off the whole offense? He was a rock you could always depend on. In the biggest games it wasn't Aikman who shinned it WAS EMMITT. And last but not least something Romo has never had great coaching. Aikman had Jimmy and Norv Turner. Romo can absolutely make all the throws Troy could.Until we have some legit coaching , a great OL, and a solid defense .... i feel all of you should just zip it.

honestly i do respect and appreciate that you actually try to answer rather than just ignore it and continue on the agenda.
Seconded. perrykemp is a solid poster.

both sb years for the giants, their D never gave up over 20pts in the playoffs and had 7 takeaways in each.
They were outstanding in all phases in the playoffs, but in 2011 they don't even have a winning record if not for their red zone running game in the regular season. Look at the first stat, switch the Giants' number with the Cowboys' number, and everything else changes, including the division champ.

Red Zone Rushing TD
Dallas 4
Giants 18

Red Zone Passer Rating
Romo 105.9
Eli 75.9

FG attempts
Dallas 7th
Giants 28th

Red Zone Scoring Percentage
Dallas 20th
Giants 9th

Scoring
Dallas 15th
Giants 7th

the difference between all them guys with the rings???

they had a DEFENSE. all the stats are already in the thread showing their defenses were head and shoulders better than ours
