Sean Lee is our only guy who could start in Seattle

I'm pretty sure they are fudging on Sherman's height. He and Claiborne look pretty comparable, both are former WRs.

Height is the only comparison that can be made between Sherman and Claiborne.

Even their height isn't comparable, Sherman is almost 4 inches taller than Claiborne.

I never even checked but that shows just how far Cowboy FANS will go to try and make some kind of comparison between a great player and one who's been a disappointment for the Cowboys.

yup. everyone unwilling to admit 90% of the cowboys players arent championship caliber need to look in the mirror and scrub the jerry jones off their face.

Assuming healthy of course. Last nights game pretty much proves how far away we are defensively. Lee and Church are the only guys who play nasty and hard like those Seattle guys. Makes you want to spend all our draft picks on defense.

Waaa

no, they would probably assume his injuries are goign to keep recurring so they would dump him. I think they only want healthy players on the d, but i could be wrong.

Wow...............the reality is that outside of maybe a handful of guys, most of our players would be backups in Seattle.

I agree.
To my mind, Dez and our kicker and maybe Tyron Smith could start for the Seahawks. That's it.
And whoever said Hatch could start in Seattle needs to share his or her medication with the rest of us.

People get all hung up on who starts.
Ware, Hatcher, Spencer, Lee, Carr and Claiborne would get significant snaps.
Offensively, Romo> Wilson Dez would start and Twill would get significant snaps. Witten, Tyron woul start. Leary Bernadeau Frederick and Free would be a toss up

Okay, enough is enough. The difference between a leader, winner, and a talented guy who can't do well when the pressure is at its peak, is Romo and Wilson. Sure Romo can throw the ball better, but in what other way is he better than Wilson? Faster? Nope. More athletic? Nope. Escapability? Nope. Durable? Nope? Younger? Nope.. Romo has more experience, some more weight, and two back surgeries more than RW. Wilson, is respected, he's a winner. He has less than three seasons in the NFL and he's already accomplished more than Tony will ever accomplish. Does he play on a better team, with a better coach, and more support? Yes. Will our Homer fans call him a buss driver? Yep. Because they don't want to admit the truth or look at the facts. There isn't a a coach on the Seattle staff or an analyst worth his weight that would pick Tony over Russell Wilson.

Dez, Tyron, Frederick, JW, and Bailey are the only players we have that could start on the Seahawks team. A healthy Lee and Ware could rotate in, and Tony could take Jackson's place holding the clipboard.

Agreed....the best fit for him is a 4-3 contender, and there really aren't all that many of them out there. After that, its really hard to say, I think the market for him is going to be much smaller than he thinks.

Agree; maybe 2/3 years @ 8/12 range is likely and would be a worthy veteran on team like that.

No way Romo starts over Wilson.

Wilson throws a better slant/deep ball but that is it (obviously more athletic but also has a poor tendency to run backwards under pressure) . In terms of pure passing or opening up an offense; Romo (healthy back/deep passing reincorporated) would be the more potent option hands down. Long term Wilson would be a better fit (smart, calculating with his "shots", great scrambler, leader, strong enough arm though could improve mid range accuracy.

Reminds me of Montana bc of his size and improvisation but wonder how he would do if "required" to win in a shootout. No gimmick offense (WR pick screens, creative screen passes in general , no trick plays, etc.) I forget that this his only second season (amazing resume) but he has his limitations as well which will surely be improved on as his career progresses. But he couldn't "lead" an Offense the way Romo does when he is on.

Their FG kicker only missed 2 FG's all year. He and Bailey are probably a wash.

I agree that Dez and Tyron would start. Lee can't be trusted to stay healthy. I wouldn't want any of our corner over theirs.

Romo? Maybe. Romo may be more talented, but Wilson has the intangibles that's perfect for that team. Wilson was a born leader and took that team over the second he was named the starter. Romo had to be forced kicking and screaming into a leadership role.

I think if you asked any Seahawks fan if they'd want Romo over Wilson, they'd laugh in your face.

Church??? Where? I think Church is an OK player. Chancellor and Thomas are both excellent players. Regardless of what Seattle's front 4 is doing, those safeties flat out make plays when presented.

Their safeties are far superior than anything on our roster.

Of course, we haven't seen much of Matt Johnson. :)

He's a better Qb because he's a better passer. Doesn't mean Wilson is a bad QB. I could even be persuade to believe that the difference is miniscule and could be argued either way. And wilson has yet to hit his prime whereas Tony has on
Y a few years left in all likelihood. But Russell Wilson has played in about as conducive a situation there is to winning in the NFL. Can he continue to play this well after he takes up a larger portion of Seattles salarycap and the Seahawks can't sign whoever they want in FA?

Romo's a better passer IMO, but Wilson's no slouch at all. And I doubt the Seahawks would trade their Super Bowl winning 2nd year QB for a soon to be 34 year old Romo straight up.

It's not like Seattle has broken the bank to bring in free agents that have inflated Wilson's numbers. They've made a ton of shrewd moves and have a bunch of guys playing on rookie deals yes... But he's slinging it around with Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, Jermaine Kearse and Zach Miller catching balls. It's not as conducive a skill player set as you make it out to be here.

Huh? Dez would start over almost every receiver in the league. Basically not over Megatron, and still he'd be their number two. This is a silly thread.
