Sean Lee is our only guy who could start in Seattle

Lee would have a chance to win a spot on their defense, but it would not be a sure thing. I was really impressed with how active all their LBs were...all over the field vs run and receivers.

I don't think Lee starts over Wagner.

Church??? Where? I think Church is an OK player. Chancellor and Thomas are both excellent players. Regardless of what Seattle's front 4 is doing, those safeties flat out make plays when presented.

Was saying he plays nasty like Seattle guys not that he would start

Romo's a better passer IMO, but Wilson's no slouch at all. And I doubt the Seahawks would trade their Super Bowl winning 2nd year QB for a soon to be 34 year old Romo straight up.

It's not like Seattle has broken the bank to bring in free agents that have inflated Wilson's numbers. They've made a ton of shrewd moves and have a bunch of guys playing on rookie deals yes... But he's slinging it around with Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, Jermaine Kearse and Zach Miller catching balls. It's not as conducive a skill player set as you make it out to be here.

I don't think Wilson is a slouch and frankly I'm a fan. And of course Seattle wouldn't do the trade straight up. But in an even competition I don't think it's crazy to think Romo could win it.

Assuming healthy of course. Last nights game pretty much proves how far away we are defensively. Lee and Church are the only guys who play nasty and hard like those Seattle guys. Makes you want to spend all our draft picks on defense.

Waaa
Tyron, Dez and Witten, too. Lets not get too crazy now.

I'm pretty sure they are fudging on Sherman's height. He and Claiborne look pretty comparable, both are former WRs.

Yea I saw a pic of Browner and Sherman next to each other and Browner looks like a giant compared to Sherman. I was shocked to see both listed a inch apart.

A lot of our guys here would look way better in Seattle since they have a cohesive defensive system. We never should have fired Rob Ryan. We had a top 10 defense when all the guys were healthy at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately, we needed a scapegoat and we never allowed that system to develop.

They have a great team with a ton of talent. But alot of that is culture and attitude. The Cowboys lack the attitude/culture to be on the level of Seattle. But we have a talent that would start for them and any team in the league.

Defense: Ware, Hatcher, and Lee for sure. Carr and Scandrick would be nickel corners and get alot of snaps.

Offense: Dez, Tyron, and Witten are no brainers. Terrance Williams would get playing time. I believe Romo would start over Wilson.

I like Russell Wilson, but if Seattle would have had a veteran QB last year then most of the world would not know who Russell Wilson is. He'd be sitting on the bench ala Ryan Mallett waiting his turn. They planned to start Matt Flynn and signed him for huge money. Flynn bombed and they gave the job to Wilson.

Dude, have you seen Ware play lately? He would never see the field behind Avril, Irvin, Clemmons and Bennett. I am not sure Lee would beat out Wagner, either. Carr would be the #4 corner, assuming Browner were playing. Claiborne would never see the field.

Ware would still be in that defensive end rotation with Bennett, Avril, and the others. This is Demarcus Ware we are talking about. The most dominant pass rusher of his era. He would get plenty of p.t. He was hurt last year, and had no help on that defensive line.

I have no faith in Claiborne right now, and thats why i didnt mention him. And Browner was not playing, he's a cheater. So Carr would be the #3.

Sean Lee not beating out Bobby Wagner? Wagner is a good LB, but Sean Lee is a stud. Of course this is when he is healthy

Wilson just won a Super Bowl for the team we're talking about...

There's no way a SUPER BOWL WINNING QB gets replaced for Tony Romo (and I'm not knocking Romo) but when you have a 25 year old QB who has won a Super Bowl in only his second year and will only continue to get better, there's no way you replace him. He's the perfect fit for that team. He keeps plays alive and converts 3rd downs, does not make a lot of mistakes, and is the unquestioned leader of that team.

Not saying Wilson is even on the same planet at this point BUUUUT Wilson is the Steve Young of that team. He is an accurate passer with above average arm strength. He makes good decisions with the ball and is looking to pass first in order to maximize gains but can and will run to get the first down. Sound like anyone? Buelller? Bueller?

Ware has been hurt for the last 3 years and he gets hurt early too. So the whole year we have to hear about how if Ware was healthy and he is a warrior because he played thru injury for 15 of the 16 games. He never comes off the field. Blah blah blah. As I said in another thread, he is a great ambassador for the team and the NFL but he is no longer a force.

Okay, enough is enough. The difference between a leader, winner, and a talented guy who can't do well when the pressure is at its peak, is Romo and Wilson. Sure Romo can throw the ball better, but in what other way is he better than Wilson? Faster? Nope. More athletic? Nope. Escapability? Nope. Durable? Nope? Younger? Nope.. Romo has more experience, some more weight, and two back surgeries more than RW. Wilson, is respected, he's a winner. He has less than three seasons in the NFL and he's already accomplished more than Tony will ever accomplish. Does he play on a better team, with a better coach, and more support? Yes. Will our Homer fans call him a buss driver? Yep. Because they don't want to admit the truth or look at the facts. There isn't a a coach on the Seattle staff or an analyst worth his weight that would pick Tony over Russell Wilson.

Dez, Tyron, Frederick, JW, and Bailey are the only players we have that could start on the Seahawks team. A healthy Lee and Ware could rotate in, and Tony could take Jackson's place holding the clipboard.

Wow! Totally agree.

Much of what they are is because of the front seven. Best corner in the NFL made that very clear in several statements over the past few weeks

Their front seven certainly helps but I don't think you'll find a talent evaluator anywhere that would put Church in the same discussion as Thomas and Chancellor.

If our guys went to Seattle they would become hard hitting tough players. It cant be every player they draft is tough and everyone we draft is soft. At some point we need to coach'm up.
