I have every draft report going back to 1991.

"Last April marked the 35th edition of the Draft Report. After much deliberation and thought, we just recently made the decision to no longer publish any reports pertaining to the NFL Draft. My player rankings, mock first round projections, and other draft related information is available on ESPN.com through "ESPN Insider".

We can't thank you enough for your loyalty and support over the years. Without it, I would have never been able to turn my passion into a fulfilling and tremendously enjoyable career. It was your enthusiasm for the draft and football in general that made the Draft Report and our other publications a true labor of love for me. I wish you nothing but the best and who knows, maybe down the road I will decide to publish the Draft Report once again."

Take Care,

Mel

Who cares what Kiper thinks....He's a moron

The man has never shown up to a single pro day according to Gil Brandt

Somebody check on @Risen Star

I was stunned and weeped a little when Berman mentioned it during last year's draft. I kind of felt like I should have been consulted first.

I'm like Chuck. I have stacks of his reports dating back to the early 90's. They're my version of Playboys.

By the time pro days arrive, the analysts like Kiper have already seen tons of game film, and spoken with coaches, etc. If a pro day changes a scout, or analyst's, opinion then they probably weren't doing their due diligence to begin with.

be strong brother...

You would think that Gil Brandt would have come out with his own book years ago. Or even someone like Broaddus.

Yeah okay, I think I will go with the Godfather Gil Brandt and his beliefs on scouting over losers like Kiper.

Draft guides in print are like newspapers anymore. A dying breed.

Being online is where it is at.

There is a huge online draftnik presence now on Twitter and on websites that have sprung up over the years.

I love Brandt, but he's slipping. Listening to him on Sirius makes me sad sometimes.

He throws out a great nugget here and there and then the next minute he has a horrible senior moment.

People like to knock Kiper, and I'll admit, sometimes it's hard to take the guy seriously (I think it's the hair), but he's pretty damn good at what he does. At worst, he's about as spot on as anyone else doing what he does. I think that people forget that the draft is such an inexact science. If it were easy, we wouldn't be a perennial 8-8 team.

He's 80! Haha
