So youre complaining they cant draft but think they would land 2 starters by staying pat? Kind of odd logic dont you think?

"i like this kid, i think he has a pro body playing DE. there's a lot of tweeners in this draft, this is a 270 lb man who can get up the field, cause problems and leveraging in the run. he can get extension, he can make the tackles."

This is an extremely deep draft, and we are a very poor to mediocre team. Therefore, it stands to reason that we could have come out of these first three picks with three new starters.

I like the players we have taken. Actually love them both, but giving up our only 3rd for the pick bothers me. It's jerry being Jerry though, falls in love with a guy or panics and handicaps the team by losing picks.

What is he talking about? Lawrence played in the high 240s.
 
If Washington is on the clock and most of the defensive ends that Dallas coveted are all or most are still available, that over paying Dallas trade is going to look even more horrible...
 
He is the second best pass rusher behind Clowney. Basically we gave up a second and a third to get a first rounder. That sounds like a great deal to me.
 
Ok yes, it sucks that we gave up our third. They most likely had a first round grade on him. Didn't want Atlanta to nab him. We needed a weak side defensive end who is quick and can bend around the corner. After him, there weren't any 43 defensive ends with his talent or production. In McClay we trust?
