Jerry always likes talking about "almost" after the draft. Some team cut in front of him, he jumped in front of some other team, some player he was going to draft, etc. Jerry likes to talk. Kind of meaningless after the fact, other than it gets him more attention.

Watching the part from about 4:35 on... Very confusing Jerryspeak, but in talking about taking the risk and how if he'd made this same kind if decision he'd never have bought the Cowboys, it's so obvious he wanted so much to take Manziel. Forget Garrett, Jerry may disown Stephen if Manziel hits.

And LOL at people saying he's lying or trolling in saying this. Why would he do that?
