I'm glad that circus is not at our camp!!! Focus on what's important and that's winning games...

We could have won games with Manziel. A young athletic QB with the young talent we have on this team. Manziel to Dez Bryant. Cowboys would have been a team to watch out for in 2014.

You must not watch the same Dallas Cowboys... The issues were with that pathetic defense.

Alright, you all sold me.

I'm in the "Complain about Jerry" Fan Club now. So what's our next course of action? I'm ready.

I mean I hope complaining all day is not the only thing we hope to accomplish.

Does anything we say in here bring about substantive change?

Our problem is on the other side of the ball.

26th in points allowed, 13th in turnovers. Doesn't sound like the 'worst defense of all time'. We should have easily won this pathetic division, especially with that cupcake schedule we had.

There's certainly no Brian Hoyer here to stand in his way, eh? You're a riot, as usual.

I thought the more interesting aspect of the interview was when Jones confirmed that he kept JG because he has too much training invested in the young coach.

Yep, Jerry basically admitted that Garrett has botched games and he doesn't want another team to benefit from Garrett learning from all of those mistakes.

So Jerry just admitted that the last 3 seasons was basically "on the job training" for Garrett and even Jerry knows Garrett has botched games that should have been Ws.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Exactly. And laughing all the way to the bank when they scurry off to write this nonsense up. He's already said they weren't interested at all. It's either that or he's forgotten what the hell he said.

I go for forgot what the official story was. I liked Stephen Jones's answer to the same subject much better. It was sane.

I just wish Jerry hadn't said what he did about coming so close to drafting Manziel in the draft. Just when I began having faith in his having made some progress in his judgment, he has to say this? Well, at least he ended up doing the right thing, thank God. It's good that he changed his mind but discouraging to think he came so close to making another mindless decision. Ah, well.

On the field. He seems like a little immature kid off of it.

Yea & then you find out he came from a very wealthy family so he comes off as a spoiled brat type.

He's definitely immature. I've seen quotes from him where he said he's not changing for anyone. He might have a hard time in life when he gets out there & finds out the world doesn't revolve around him.

Lol ok, so lets pretend I believe you. That I believe that you would hire a Gm, and not stick your nose in it.

We all know you hate corners. So lets say the higest rated o lineman is sitting there at our pick, but your Gm is going on and on about the cb and he's going to take him against what your scouts say. Our biggest need is o-line at that point...would you say something or no?

Also don't say that would fall under the category of accountability. Because you haven't seen if the cb works out or not, and you didn't give him a chance to fail.

The GM I would hire would have the philosophical belief that games are won and lost in the trenches. I'd make sure of that before I'd ever hire the guy.

After that, its his ship. I won't think for my General Manager. But I will hold him accountable for the results.

This stuff really isn't hard if you don't have an ego bigger than the state of Texas.

See, why can't he just have a philosophical belief that he will make the right moves necessary?? You want a guy, who would think almost like you. No in reality, it's just a clone version of you, with maybe just a little more knowledge of the Fronts.

So in reality you would Jerry Jones. lol

Overall i do hear what you are saying, but as you stated, it would be hard for you to not have things go your way or in a direction you want the team to be built.
