We should have let his contract run out and just renewed him as a franchise player through the end of this year. Instead, we're contractually tied to him for years to come.

Romo is damaged goods at this point.

- Audibles whenever he wants, does not stick to the run when it is effective
- Throws are inaccurate at times because of poor fundamentals, and his deep ball hangs like a punt
- Very stubborn when it comes to understanding critical situations.

He has no zip on the ball. He is not the same guy. Don't know how much it is connected to his back. This sucks. This fan is worried. Sky not falling but wow.

I think it has a lot to do with his back (and usual bad decision throwing into coverage). Bad back = no core strength = no zip on the ball. If it is his back, stick a fork in him. Many great athletes have had their careers ended because of a bad back.

For anyone who missed the game today and are just logging into the board they'll know things didn't go well when the first thing they see is an official fire Jason Garrett and Romo stinks thread.

, we might actually get a successor in Mariota by landing the first round pick... but then again there's no guarantee we'll draft a qb.'
Its past time to draft a qb. Mariota looks like a better, faster version of map to me. I like him and he'd have a great situation here with all the weapons and a great OL. Its time!

In my opinion this was his worst game by far, if it's not his worse, then it's pretty darn close! He looked uncomfortable, had happy feet, missed wide open WRs, made terrible reads, and his throws really didn't seem to have much zip. Romo easily deserves all the bad rep he gets this week, this L is 100% on him. A good quarterback wins this game today, heck I honestly think an average one would've won today, Romo was awful.

never could..

he's a horrible dink and dunk qb and needs to be removed asap.

always throwing hands at his receivers even though he is the true problem.

Some fans haven't a CLUE

Romo has always worried me in critical situations (and leadership), now, I am concerned with the fact that I am actually seeing his skills as a QB diminish before my eyes.

Keep pressing Romo. 3? 4? Defenders. That's just DUMB. There are a lot of Romo supporters and I can say that although I cringe everytime he throws, I still have that little bit of hope he doesn't choke. He proves that it can take one person to ruin the momentum and morale of the whole team. I mean look at his body language. Who would want to play for THAT?

We sure pay him a lot to not practice and win. If it came down to mid season and nothing has changed I say we ship him out for whatever we can get. Romo for Manziel straight up. Just saying... if we aren't winning might as well get some fresh blood in here. Another head case but I'm tired of hearing excuses.

I did not expect Romo to look this bad. He clearly was not ready today. Chalk it up to the missed practices or just mentally incompetent. Unfortunately, we can not afford to wait for his mind or body to be right again, if ever.

I would start him and see how he plays vs. Tennessee. Romo rarely craps it two weeks in a row. But, if he plays similar to his outing today, I think you go Weeden.

Legit reason for concern....not at all because he had a bad game..mainly because he had a really bad game the very first game of the season and it was the first after back surgery.

It'll take 4-5 games before I'd dare to say this a permanent thing.

sorry its more than that.his body is not allowing him to make proper throws with accuracy.
