No more single digit Wonderlich scores please. To quote a wise old coach "hit me in the head with hammer if I draft another dumb player."

Ever heard of a guy named Charlie Waters? The guy got torched at corner for a few seasons. Charlie Taylor LOVED facing Charlie Waters. Landry moved Waters to safety and was an All-Pro. Not suggesting a position change for Claiborne, but just saying I would be slow to conclude he can't play.

Comparing Mo to Waters is ridiculous. Waters was a team player an was not afraid to mix it up and be physical at the point of attack.

Mo is weak - in mind and body and it is time to face the music. This was a huge mistake drafting this kid.

Yet the front office never points their finger at themselves.

Not once... Stunned how we never trade players away before they go off to another team, and we never seem to be able to get veterans in trades for cheap value.

We could have gotten Corey Dillon for a 2nd round draft pick. Instead of the Roy Williams trade we could have got Anquan Boldin for much less...

The defense of his constant "injuries" and his poor play has been going on a very long while.

Now suddenly it is "who is defending him"?

I was referring to this particular thread...

I see you're referring to all the other threads about Mo.

If Jerry can kill his confidence what does that tell you? You guys are crazy. Lol speaking on Mo like he's a 7th grader that got benched.

With all due respect, just go listen to some NFL head coaches talk about managing players. Some you chew on, some you build up. I didn't say it, they say it, if you will just listen. People are people in sports, from 7th grade to your Dallas Cowboys, and as far as that goes, to the place where you will go in to work tomorrow.

my acronym got censored, it was more of a comment.."what the ****?!?!?!" I'll assume you can fill in the blanks

Yeah, I'm stunned. I really hope some team has a bust that they are willing to swap, because I don't want this guy here anymore.

Did you miss the last three plays in Sundays game?

Maybe if he did anything decent the first 58 minutes of the game it wouldn't have been necessary to make a play at the end. He is timid, physically very weak, and I'm sorry but not overly bright.

It's 3rd and 3 so let's play 10 yards off the ball. A total waste

I get it. I just think that it might not have been the same reaction if Jones would have just kept quiet. I can't prove it was the reason he was that upset but I can't say it wasn't either. We may still need this kid, what's his state of mind going to be if we do?

You're right, they may need the kid, but he's going to need a change in attitude.

If not? Then he won't be an NFL player. He's going to have to determine how important it is to be one of the select few that has earned the right to play in the league.

I had the same response, though. His whole contract was guaranteed? What the what?

Of course he was the best prospect since Deion, so...

This is part of the new rookie pay scale.

IIRC, the early 1st round picks usually have their entire contract guaranteed.

Hmmm. I thought I saw him hit the QB pretty hard on a "perfectly timed blitz" on the last drive of the game last Sunday. Then I thought I saw him end the game with an interception. Then I thought I heard him say that he was terrible, and that just finishing strong isn't good enough (sounds like a team first attitude to me). Today, in my opinion, sounds like a young guy who is already feeling the pressure, and just snapped a bit. I agree with Woody's Girl, let's see where he is tomorrow. I remember a certain guy named Beasley almost retiring before he ever started.

yep, rewarding a player before he's done jack ****! Cant stand that mentality and just promotes entitlement imo and removes leverage and flexibility as well.

Nothing like compounding a bad pick and trade with backing yourself into a corner
