Losing Hatcher. Major Downgrade
Losing Ware. Major Downgrade
Losing Lee. Major Downgrade
Demoting legendary Monte Kiffin and promoting Marinelli, the boy he trained. Downgrade.

Attaining Martin. Major Upgrade.

4 Downgrades (3 Major) to 1 Major Upgrade

On paper the Commanders should have a better chance than they did against the Cowboys last year for the reasons listed above. At the very least, there is no logical reason it shouldn't be as competitive as the 2 games were last year.

"We aren't going to win this game. The closer it gets, the more sure I am that we will lose."

Extremeskins has been a source of humor for me for years now. The site ought to be delusionalskins.com, not extemeskins.

Anyway, this is the Washington Commanders and I am definitely worried about this game. Our records don't matter. All that matters is that we are division rivals with a big past that hate each other. Blood has been in the water for decades and it is what it is.

With that being said I do hope we tear them up by double digits and it's a laugher from the start.

Go Boys!

i turn 25 next month. i have no hatred for the skins. even when i research past history, i can't conjure up any hate for those clowns. i look down on them and almost feel sorry for them. eagles and giants on the other hand...

I'm in this boat too. 26, diehard lifelong Cowboys fan with only a vague recollection of two of our three 90s Super Bowls. I despise Philadelphia more than any team in any sport anywhere ever in the history of mankind. Can't stand NYG either. But I've never gotten too fired up over the Washington rivalry. I almost wish they would get halfway decent again so the rivalry can be reborn for us younger fans.

I don't go to extremeskins (I've heard nothing but bad about that place) but I do go to a Commanders forum here and there and it's got a pretty good group of level headed posters. From what I've seen there pretty much all of them are expecting the Skins to lose badly.

I personally still think this will be a very tough game because it's a division rival.

Nothing is as entertaining as being on Extremeskins when their team is getting clobbered. The night they got destroyed by the Giants, the game thread was rib-hurtingly hilarious. Nothing is funnier than Commanders fans in despair.

When you want to be entertained, go to a live game thread when the Skins are getting destroyed. You won't regret it.

Yep. The immaturity is unbelievable.

~reads posts about the fecals, vagiants, forskins, etc...~

comparing what individuals say and do to the software that is officially owned by the club is a huge fail.

Marinelli was broken in his Head Coaching job. Kiffin has a Super Bowl ring as defensive coordinator, and is the inventor of Tampa 2.

And?

He also sucked horribly here last year when calling the shots.

Rod has been doing a better job this year.

The 1-7 laughingstock Cowboys thrashed the Giants on the road 33-20 four years ago, dominating from start to finish. While I'm not saying that'll happen tonight when the 2-5 Commanders play Dallas tonight, we can't count them out.

Upsets in division games happen all the time, but that dead cat bounce game we got after firing Wade is probably not the best example of what could happen tonight. This WAS team plays well on both sides of the ball. They just have trouble holding onto it and with putting it in the end zone. It's pretty easy to imagine them having good ball control for a single statement game like tonight's and playing us even down to the wire. The only real question is whether or not our offense is good enough to wear them down, regardless. I think we can do that pretty readily, if we just don't turn the ball over in the process.

how the rest of that season went, calling that game a dead cat bounce doesn't seem too accurate. We finished 5-3 and our three losses were by a combined 7 points.

Also, we were an 11 win team the year previously. the Commanders were a last place team the year previously.

Our offense has worn down better defenses then theirs

I was thinking more like north Korea. China unlike the skins is an entity that you actually have to worry about.

Don't sleep on North Korea either. I spent a year being considered a speed bump 2 kilometers away from the DMZ.

You know, their 'we want...Dallas?' thread only mustered 16 posts. And some of them were saying they didn't really 'want' Dallas, after all. You can tell by how quiet things have been around here this week what Redsk*ns fans think of their chances tomorrow night. And I agree with them. This will be a hard-fought game, but it's a game we should win relatively comfortably by the time we get into the fourth quarter. We won't take them lightly, so, if they beat us, it'll be because they played above their heads.

Not only the skins but the Eagles feel the same. Most of the Eagles have themselves pencil in as a wild card.

You guys missed the Theeeismann days. If you were there, you would understand. It actually goes back to the very start of the Cowboys franchise, the Commanders racist owner tried his best to prevent the Cowboys from even being a team. It's quite the story. I recommend reading about it some time, along with a little reading on the "Cowboy Chicken Club".

Didn't he even cut a player or something because his first name was Dallas
