Get ready for a losing streak, everyone watched that mess last night and blitzes be coming! And this D is horrible

Could you seriously go away. You are so annoying. You say the same thing in every thread and noticeably you start posting again after a loss after being absent for 2 weeks.

Oh you're from the future?

Truth is you don't know what this teams ultimate fate will be more so than anyone else.

Their ultimate fate could be once again having to battle for a playoff spot in week 17 if they're unable to rebound on Sunday. The Commanders would love nothing better than to end the Cowboys season with another win over them in week 17. This season could take a dramatic turn for the worse if we see another poor performance on Sunday vs AZ. The Cowboys haven't exactly had a lot of luck against AZ the last couple of times they faced them so they better be focused and ready to play or there's the potential for a collapse.

I would love 8-2 but I'll take 7-3 into the bye week. This team is going to the playoffs. We lost for the wrong reasons last night, that stuff can and will be corrected.

How many times have we seen this team go 7-4 and them get bombed in December to miss the playoffs. Yesterday's game just reminded me that this team is still mortal ... with many, many flaws.

The potential for getting bombed in Dec is there when you look at their schedule. The Cowboys need to pile up the wins now because they have a tough 6 game stretch to end the season.

If we beat Arizona and take care of the Jaguars going into the bye, we can restore order. Cards are going to be tough. Their defense loves to blitz more than any team in the league and they are more talented than the Skins on both sides of the ball.

If we drop the Cards game, you will see a lot of people getting worried and for good reason.

Different team. We never had this running game and our defense swarms to the ball. Were built for December and January.

We shall see on Sunday. I think they will bounce back but it will be a tough game regardless.

That happened in 2011 the Cowboys were 7-4 and proceeded to go 1-4 in Dec/Jan. I'm not saying the Cowboys are going to end up 8-8 again and miss the playoffs but if they lose Sunday to drop to 6-3 the second half of the season could be a nightmare. If the Cowboys lose to AZ they have JAX next and there's no guarantees they'll win that one with the game being played in London. You're on a different time schedule and things could go wrong especially if the Cowboys were to be riding a 2 game losing streak into that game.

Although Jax isn't a good team they had Philly down by 17 points in Philly on opening day before losing. Just like Washington they can't be taken for granted because they're struggling and playing with a rookie QB. Wouldn't surprise me if the Cowboys defense allows Bortals to have a career game. Losing to struggling teams that are going nowhere and have QB issues can derail a great season so we'll be finding out a lot about the mental toughness and character of this Cowboys team the second half of the season.

Hopefully they do bounce back because this is a very important game for the Cowboys psyche that's been fragile the past few years. What makes this Cowboys team different from the past few teams is this team has overachieved as opposed to underachieving like previous teams. The Cowboys have several castoffs on defense who've played some very good football this season. The effort has been outstanding and this team doesn't give up. This isn't a great Cowboys team they've had to scratch and claw from behind in 4 of their 6 wins. This is a team that was down by 28 points to SF on opening day and battled back from a 21 point deficit vs a mediocre Rams team.

This Cowboys team has to be ready and focused to play every week or they'll get their butts handed to them. That's true for every team in the league this season. We've seen teams this season win in a blowout and the following week that same team gets blown out. One week it's feast and the next week it could be famine. You can't take any team lightly in the NFL regardless of their record.

I wouldn't be surprised if we blow Jacksonville out in London.

Neither would I based on the 4 blowouts they've suffered this season but they all came in the first 4 weeks. In their last 4 games they've won 2 of them and were competitive in their 2 losses. They've improved since the start of the season and you have to remember Bortals is gaining experience with every start. Regardless of how the Cowboys play on Sunday vs AZ they have to be focused and prepared for a tough game vs JAX because that will be a game they're suppose to win and should win. The Cowboys losing to another losing team could end up destroying this season.

They've actually won 1 game and Bortles hasn't really looked that great.

Thought they beat the Titans but okay they've won one game but like I mentioned they have been competitive in their last 4 games and although Bortals hasn't looked great he's gaining experience with every start. He is a rookie that has shown some potential. Don't fall into the trap of thinking he's not capable of having a big game.

Competitive against TENN and PIT(when they were still reeling) and MIA wasn't really close. They're still bad. Bortles hasn't had a big game to be capable of having a big game yet.

They were competitive vs Tenn, Pitt and they won by 18 points over a Cleveland team that hasn't been that bad this season. They also had Philly down by 17 points in the opener before being thumped. JAX lost to Miami but it wasn't exactly a blowout. They're bad but so was Washington. Bortals passed for 336 yards and a TD vs Tenn and completed almost 70% of his passes. This is sounding like some of the discussions I had prior to the Washington game. Everyone discounted Washington and McCoy. What were you saying prior to the Washington game were you concerned or were you like most in the prediction thread that the game would be a blowout in favor of the Cowboys?

Man you are really stuck on this Jville thing. Unless Jville plays the game of their season and we just fail to show up they might have a chance. Jville's problem is scoring. And I hate the 'well everyone discounted Washington and McCoy'. Well of course we did. We also knew that the Skins are our rival and they had most everything work out for them and still needed overtime to do it. Washington is also better than Jville. Jville has to have that kind of perfect storm and then some.

The same was said about my comments concerning Washington. Washington came up with the game of their season with a QB who flamed out 3 years ago and doesn't have the potential of Blake Bortals. I don't take any game or team for granted especially a game that will be played in London vs a struggling team that's trying to make something of a bad season and can throw caution to the wind. Not everything worked out for Washington last night they had a turnover and some miscues but the Cowboys defense from last year showed up.

Washington won because the Cowboys turned the ball over costing them scoring opportunities and the defense played like crap against a 3rd string QB who hadn't started a game in 3 years. You're not going to win many games turning the ball over and allowing a QB to complete 25 of 30 passes. Enough about JAX we need to worry about AZ who has a very solid team and if the Cowboys don't play better than they did last night we'll see a repeat of opening day.

Guess that we really shouldn't be surprised. Last night wasn't the first time that the Cowboys looked like the better team going in with the Skins giving them a tougher game then expected. That's how games in the NFC East goes sometimes. A lot of people thought that the Eagles would blow us out in the game that we faced them and it came down to the end.

Disappointed even though I knew that we weren't going 15-1. The key is for the team not letting themselves fall into a losing streak of 3 games or more in a row. A game here and there is fine but losing a bunch in a row could have us in trouble. The difference between an 8-8 season or worse or better is if they can get hot again and put together some wins in a row like they did in six games.

We will see what our 'Boys are made of starting with Arizona. If they can bounce back like they did after the 49ers game they will be okay.

Agreed. Can't start too big of losing streak. 2 in a row... Maybe 3... Any worse than that we are goners.

Actually, it's not. Unless he loses 6 of the next 8 games. Even then he is probably safe.

Probably not. He doesn't have a contract after this year. Sorry but if he goes 8-8 or less after starting 6-1 no reason to bring him back.
