Can't lose a lot of games after this. Got it. I think this is something most of us can get behind.

6-2 is one thing. Fall to 6-3, and the season is suddenly in real jeopardy.

The NFC is tough this year.

It's nice that we've won enough this season that even posts like this that are supposed to sound ominous don't sound even remotely ominous. Even at 6-3, we've still got the Eagles on the schedule twice. There's no real jeopardy. And I say that while at the same time stressing as much as I possibly can that I don't want to see us lose any games, much less lose two home games back to back.

I think everyone is fooling themselves here. Arizona would have been a tough opponent even if Romo, Durant, Leary were all healthy. Now that we have those additional injuries, Arizona smells blood. I don't see this team recovering from that Commander's loss in time to beat the Cards. That trip to London will be taxing on a team that will be limping into their BYE week. If it weren't the Jaguars as an opponent, I'd say beware of losing that one as well. The Boys are going to have a rough second half to the season... playoffs are in jeopardy.

We are 6-2 not 2-6 get real

So when Romo doesn't come back to the game, he's weak and soft, but if he returns, he's selfish?

What? You are coming to conclusions that I never alluded to. I certainly never said any of that. Romo is one of the toughest QBs I've ever seen. But let's not forget he's older, coming off two back surgeries, and now has yet another injury to his back. No doubt he is going to want back in the game but should it be up to him or shouldn't smarter forces be in play here. Shouldn't the coaches see that Weeden had the game under control on offense. Romo just looked like a deer caught in headlights with that blitz coming. It was a different game when Weeden was in the game. Romo's ego had to have another chance at glory and everyone in the decision process caved to Romo's ego. That tells me what is most important to this organization... not winning a game, it's Romo's ego that is more important so everyone bows to it.

I see. I agree that Romo shouldn't have returned, but I don't think ego was the issue.

We started 7-4 in 2011 and we only won 1 game afterwards.
I can see the same thing happening again this year.

We need to win next two games.

If the Cowboys start a losing streak now they'll struggle to win 9-10 games because they have a tough 6 game stretch to finish out the season. Dec hasn't exactly been a kind month to the Cowboys and that's the month that separates the contenders from the pretenders. If the Cowboys lose to AZ this Sunday they could collapse because no one saw a 6-1 start coming with this team. The Cowboys appeared to be for real after beating Seattle in Seattle but the Seahawks don't look like the same team they did last season. Last nights loss raises some questions about the Cowboys. If this team is for real they'll rebound on Sunday and play a solid game against AZ. Both Cowboys losses this season have come at home and if they're going to be a legit contender they have to be able to win at home.

There certainly are no gimmies for these Cowboys. Any Cowboys fan that doesn't know that is as clueless as they come. With that said, I don't think I'll chalk up either game as a loss either. It's painfully obvious the offense has a deficiency. They either fix it, or they do whatever they can to minimize how much it will hurt them, i.e. stay committed to the run.

The Cards have warts too. They want to be pass happy with Carson Palmer at QB. He's not horrible, but I don't like him running an offense like that either. Dallas can win that game, but they need to show up. No fumbles, no dropped TDs, no freaking out and abandoning the thing they do best.

I don't understand you, man ... I've been a longtime lurker on here, I don't post much but I do notice you seem to pop up around here everytime the Cowboys lose and make these negative comments on every thread. Seriously, I can understand being upset about the loss and being disappointed in the team's performance, but you seem to like when the Cowboys lose and that's just ridiculous. If you're just gonna go into every thread and proclaim on how much the Cowboys sucks, the defense is terrible and that we're gonna go on a losing streak, don't even bother posting. You're just making a fool of yourself. We're 6-2 and I'm pretty sure even you wouldn't of predicted that 2 months ago, but now we lose one game and suddenly we're expose and we suck? Whatever, man.

We head into our bye at 7-3 and were in good shape . You try to go 4-2 3-3 down the stretch should be good enough .

Hopefully we beat Arizona.

I've had a feeling that we would lose to Arizona all along though because of the short week and just being due for a loss.

1 huge plus though is we don't have to play a mobile QB this week so that helps.

Watch Carson get 50+ yards rushing lol.

The NFC is tough this year.

Not that tough. The South and North aren't as strong as they were supposed to be. The East is us and the Eagles. The West remains somewhat strong. The Bears, Falcons, Saints have been disappointments and Niners and Seahawks have been somewhat disappointing.

lol, so only homers allowed? You just don't like hearing the truth. I'm a Cowboys fan through and through, I just choose to see the Boys for what they really are and not what I wish they could be.

Oh you're from the future?

Truth is you don't know what this teams ultimate fate will be more so than anyone else.

 I know bad decisions spawn bad results. It doesn't take a prognosticator to know that.
