Except for Wade. They couldn't wait to run him out of town and let boy genius take the reigns.

When you use disparaging comments like "boy genius"....your're game is checked!

Losers always revert back to calling names like child.

I literally laughed out loud when I read this ....literally

Glad to make your day my friend!!!
lol Sure you were! How old are you?
Lets just say I have sat and watched EVERY Superbowl the Cowboys have played in. If your qualification of being a fan is blindly supporting everything Cowboy no matter what then I am sorry, I have to call them like I see them. I truly hope we keep winning this season and go on to have post season success but that will not erase the fact that Garrett's idiotic game/clock management has cost us at LEAST two games a season the last three years and he has lost win or go home games to end the season to division rivals no less three years running. I hate the Eagles, but to say Kelly has not done a better job than Garrett given both their tenures is just ridiculous . Now that is not to say Garrett will not eventually be better than Kelly but not so far.

See, your last sentence?

So, you can come to this forum, dog the hell out of Garrett, praise Kelly, but, if or when the Cowboys do better than Chip...you want to come here again and "hey, let's all have fun...Garrett did it"!!!

Typical of a poster like you and your friend Single-Wing!

I got your game, young man...

Your*

Way to chastise me for "name calling" in one sentence, and then calling me a disparaging name in the very next one. That'll learn me!

Anyway, "boy genius" is a term of endearment. :)

LOL, those are snippets taken out of context.

Once again, Jerry only speaks the truth when it fits your agenda.

I have posted the links to each article

Can you show me how they are "out of context" ?

I have shown you clear quotes/proof that Garrett's influence on the offense has been severely minimized. Can you show me direct quotes from Jerry that Garrett remains in charge of the offense?

Or will you as usual slink away to the "other" message board with your tail between your legs

Most teams will suffer when your starting QB goes down. That goes without saying. My point was that if a team that JG built is so great like OP is implying, you should at least be able to win some games with your backup QB. You should at worst win the games against inferior opponents.

Patriots have won 11 games when Brady went down with their backup QB. Nineties Cowboys team did it and even went to the playoffs when Aikman was hurt.

AZ has done it all year long this year. Yes EaGirls got blown out at GB but I doubt they would have done much better with Foles. They did however win soundly against the Panthers with Sanchez the week before.

Unlike those teams, we had to fly our starting QB with two broken back bones to London and have him play almost the full game against the worst team in the league.

With our defense GB scares the you know what out of me. I don't see where it wouldn't make every Boys fan a bit nervous.
They are the best team in the NFC.

That's true, but you see what I see on the field.

So far I do. Rodgers team is looking really good! But, anything could and will happen at the end, then we get to see.

I like that kind of competition out of a team that the Cowboys might face.

You presented an article with quotes from a longer interview...was it a transcript? Then it was out of context.

Stephen, Jerry and Linehan have all been quoted that Garrett hired Linehan to run his offense and it was under the mandate that we were to run the ball.

Lol, do you know the meaning of the phrase "out of context"?
Things are not automatically out of context if they are excerpted from a larger discussion/interview.
If you are asserting that these quotes are out of context you need to show the full interview and prove that these quotes don't mean what they very clearly do

The assertion also was not whether Jason rubber stamped the linehan hire or not , it was whether Garrett's influence was severely curtailed with linehans arrival, hence the difference in offensive philosophy and the emphasis on the run game

Try to keep up and don't try to divert the discussion

I'm still waiting for those quotes BTW

You are so predictable.

So a reporter is going to put quotes together that won't put the article in the most provocative light he can?

Jerry talks in circles, always has. If you take any quote on its own it is bound to be skewed. When in the entirety of the interview he usually clears it up if not completely contradicts himself.
