When did you think that this team is for real?

At what point in the season did you think that this team might be for real or better than expected? A lot of people thought that this team would end up 8-8 or a lot worse. No one gave them a chance. And I bet that no one would have guessed than they would end up winning 12 games.

So what was the turning point for you in making you believe that this team could turn out to be pretty good. For me it was the Saints game. Even though the Saints aren't any good right now. But during the time I was impressed with how Dallas played and thought that the team could turn out to be better than everyone thought they would be. Considering that a lot of people had us losing to the Saints. And that during the time that the team had gone on a winning streak.

When I saw that they can run the ball against anyone.

If nobody can stop your run game then you're almost unbeatable.

Also, over the last month our passing game has gone to another level and we are no longer just running T. Will and Dez deep down the sideline and if they aren't open Romo has to run around and hopefully make a play.

Now we have Beasley and Witten just killing teams over the middle of the field and it's really taken our offense to another level.

Might be for real? When they beat the Seahawks in Seattle.

When did I become convinced this isn't yesterday's Cowboys? When they molested the Colts in Dallas. That's a game previous teams would have fumbled away. Instead they treated the Colts with contempt. How dare you come in here with this riff raff and challenge us?

Half way through 6 game win streak.

Felt they would find a way to win in spite of mistakes,
The will to win was evident!

At the end of training camp I said the offense had the talent to hang with anybody and that the defense had reasonable NFL level talent at most positions.

Win #9. I celebrated like they had won a PO game. Been awhile since the last time we were over .500

1960, when I was one year old, and the Cowboys were born.

I knew this team could be good before game one. But to realize it was better and for real. I would say the Saints game also, but the Seahawks game solidified it.

This is precisely how it unfolded for myself

I can honestly say early on this team had something, but up until we beat the Eagles and the Colts... we werent even sure we were going to make the playoffs!!!

I believe this team can go on and truly be special in these playoffs, first thing first we gotta take care of Detroit.

Win in Seattle

Yep I added that game to my collection of Cowboys video. I think it will be seen as the turning point of this new era if we continue to maintain our new found status as a contender for the foreseeable future. Beating them twice this year would only add to that premise.

The first real indicator was obviously Seattle, but the Washington loss kind of made me wonder again.

But then, during the second game against Philly, after they blew that 21-point lead I expected the big collapse.

Instead, I saw a composed team march down the field and take back a lead they would never relinquish.

That's when I knew that this was truly a different team.

When I realized what a freakin' great player Martin is, and how his addition to an already very good OL made it an even more phenomenal unit.

It was mindblowing to see their performance at Seattle. They really dictated the game.

Colts game after won two consecutive games against potential playoff teams with winning records, dismantling one of them in the first quarter and breaking the home field curse....

This is my answer, word for word. I was impressed with our "over achievement" before, but when they didn't fold with the Philly stadium rocking having given up the lead... That's when I really believed this team can do it all.
