Shields is right on two counts: (1) he did have great coverage and (2) it was a catch. Reminds me of Lynn Swann's two leaping catches in SB X over Mark Washington. Washington was right there both times but Swann made two outstanding catches, deserving of the game MVP that year. Blandino robbed Bryant of a spectacular play that would've gone down in Cowboys' playoff lore. I don't know how many guys make that play. Bryant is comparable to TO in terms of size and strength and yet can highpoint a ball like Swann. He can be an all-time great if he improves his route running and stays focused and motivated ala Michael Irvin.
Yrs. it was reminiscent of Swann's catch!
