I don't see how it can be even close as good as Breaking Bad but it still might be good.

2/8/2015 Sunday night AMC

Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of cameos, with little run ins. Maybe Saul vs the DEA with Shrader heading a case.

True. But Saul might have "interesting" "shady" stuff going to make it "on par" with BB.

I thought about that too. Could even run onto WW in something do unrelated.. Lol

Although seriously, I hope they don't try that until the show gets it's own legs under it.

Can't wait to see how it is

Yup. Wasn't at first... But hearing about it in dribs and drabs got me interested.

Did BB marathon, finished it last summer. So it's fresh on my mind.

Every review I've read has been very positive. I trust Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould.

The first episode was good. They seem to be laying a good foundation for future shenanigans.

It probably won't be as good as BB, but I think it'll still be better than 95% of the shows on now. And hopefully people will realize that Odenkirk was more than a great character on BB, but just a great actor period.

Agreed.

Based SOLEY on his shenanigans ... It can only be do good.

Moral issues drove BB. That won't happen here. Lol

The last 10 minutes saved it as the rest of the show was Meh.
Although I do realize it is just set up for the rest of the season so I expect the next episode to be much better for the length of the episode.

Really?

I thought it was very interesting. The only weird part was, was that his brother, the other lawyer?

Yeh...I found it pretty boring until the end. But to be fair I think I was hyping it up too much going into the episode. Tonight's episode looks like it should be pretty good and maybe we see the start of him turning into Saul instead of broke arse Jimmy.

What do you all think was the reason Chuck on leave from work at his law firm? Was unclear with that as he didn't look really sick or mentally unhinged. Also, if Jim (Saul) is pretending to be one of the partners at the law firm, then who/where is the real Jim McClain?

Also, when watching the VHS tape of Saul Goodman at the beginning of the episode, Saul looked pained...I wonder why.

Great first episode. I loved it. I think this show is going to be great and the ending to the episode was awesome.
