So far the combine has shown me what I previously thought. All of the top edge guys will be long gone. The ones that may be there at 27 I dont like the value or I dont think fit. OO(mainly his hips), Eli Harold and Preston Smith don't do much for me at our pick. The more I see of the players who are likely to be available, the more I think OL, CB or RB will be the pick at 27 baring a trade up/down

On a side not Bud Dupree is a absolute physical freak. Too bad he will be long gone before our pick. He was projected in mid-late 20's not too long ago.

Someone ALWAYS falls further than expected. I expect a good DL prospect from today to be there for us. Regardless of the debbie downers around here saying otherwise.

Beasley is one of the rare guys to test off the charts and actually have the tape to back up his athletic ability. He's going to be an absolute menace for a team that runs a 3-4. Reminds me a lot of Von Miller.

I don't like to read too much into the combine but a performance like that can't be ignored. Between his tape and what he demonstrated today he looks to be the total package. I am getting really excited for this draft.

Very disappointed with Dawson. Between this pedestrian work out and his off the field questions, he doesn't look nearly as attractive to Dallas anymore.

You shouldn't have much interest in him. He doesn't even have the sense to own up for his past mistakes. Hey, so I'm late a lot. No big deal.

Agree. When the player says his college coach would "just" say I'm a knucklehead... that is a definite red flag.

Looks like Melvin Gordon has the best 60 yard shuttle time of any RB since at least 2006 according to NFL.com.
Also Jay Ajayi of Boisi State and Ameer Abdullah ran fantastic times.

I love this RB class.

The Broncos were a 4-3 team with Miller playing SLB in the base and DE in the Nickel.

I'm aware of the scheme that Del Rio ran in Denver. Beasley reminds me of Miller in his quickness, bend and burst. Both players, IMO, are best suited as 3-4 OLBs.

You didn't think that was the best scheme for Von Miller? He had 14 sacks.

IMO, Miller's position in that scheme was even more conducive to a smallish player than a 3-4 OLB would be.

Yeah, a more athletic Von Miller. I can see the Skins reaching and nabbing him. Thought I saw they're running a 3-4 this season...could be wrong.

I think the 3-4 offers more ways to be creative with explosive edge players, so yes, I think that Miller could have even bigger numbers in a 3-4.

Miller and Beasley, size wise, are similar to Jason Worilds, Joey Porter and Clark Haggans, all of whom had good success as 3-4 OLBs in Pittsburgh.

Im hoping for melvin gordon. We could get a guy like trey flowers DE in the second. Will be a very solid pro that would come right in and contribute right away.

My top 3 hopefuls for 27.. bud dupree, tj clemmings, or melvin gordon
