Agreed. He's going to be a terror to deal with. I suppose the Commanders could draft him but I think they go pass rush with that pick. The Giants, I believe, are looking to upgrade the OL.

I guess it wasn't a question but a statement. If we were in a different scheme like a regular 4-3 I think having less speed at LBer is fine. In a Tampa you have to have these guys excel in coverage, there is no other choice. From what I read and saw today most of these guys are going to be a liability but Floaty still wants Dawson as a 1st round pick.

I would like to see an early round LB for Marinelli's scheme run a 4.65 or better but I give them the benefit of the doubt in regards to the combine vs Pro Day. A 4.65 or better at their Pro Day is good enough.

I have a feeling that Dawson had an issue running that forty. He does not look like a 4.95 forty type player to me. He'll need to run a much better time at his Pro Day.
