Who would you rather have :

Demarco Murray or Greg Hardy?

My answer is Murray , we really dropped the ball here. However I think we could have easily had both with a restructure.

This off season feels slapped together.

Biff...you really need to look at it this way:
Murray and a rookie pass rusher
or
Hardy and a rookie RB

I will take Hardy and a rookie RB. Besides that, Murray would not have signed an incentive based deal. He wanted his money.

If you asked me if I have a team and I get to choose one player between Murray and Hardy I probably take Murray. But if you're telling me the Hardy package comes with Peterson or a Gurley/Gordon in the draft then the choice is rather easy.

Hardy, easily.

I loved Murray, and wish he could of stayed, but a pass rusher like Hardy is a greater benefit to the team than Murray would be.

Hardy, easily.

And I'm an OU Sooners fan who has loved DeMarco since his freshman season.

Pass rushing was our biggest weakness last season. And we just added one of the best in the game. Our weakness will become a strength, when combined with a healthy and improved Lawrence. Add Rolando McClain and either Adrian Peterson or Gurley/Gordon, and we will be set.

I think what you have to look at is what this Hardy pickup does for Dallas' draft.

It has epic potential...........

I really wanted DeMarco back, but if I had to choose between he and Hardy, it was always Hardy. I was worried for a while that we'd get neither. I'm thrilled.

Fact of the matter is a running back is a lot easier to obtain than a 26 year old elite pass rusher. There's really no comparison. And from the looks of things they could've obtained Demarco if they wanted to.

We might need to wait and answer this question because it could come down to who would you rather have Demarco or Greg Hardy/Melvin Gordon/Todd Gurley/or another rookie RB.

we have Hardy for 8 games max (suspension, injury) then he is off to another team in 2016.

From a character standpoint, Murray.
From a purely football standpoint, Hardy.

I remember Murray dropping the ball in the 3rd quarter there when we could've put em away
