The sooner, the better. It's gonna be either 2 games, 4 games or 6 games, with 4 being by far the most likely. I'd rather know now how long it's gonna be rather than wait.

Relax. If anything this is intended to accelerate resolution of the matter, which can only help the Cowboys. The NFL doesn't want to be embarrassed, as it was in the Ray Rice situation, by having damning evidence come out after it has ruled on disciplinary action. They'll want full information before deciding on a suspension. The lawsuit is intended to ensure they get full information, and can therefore make an informed ruling, sooner than later.

I agree. I'm sure the Dallas FO expected this.

I don't see the point. They needed to wait for him to have a contract with any team to take action. Just my opinion

Anyone consider they may want to hurry up and get the review done and determine if a suspension is warranted which is exactly what the Cowboys want.

this is why the new policy will not affect Hardy. Doty made it clear (you have to dig into the transcript) that in addition to clear bias on the part of the arbiter that you cannot use the new policy against someone who's incident was before that new policy came into effect.

So the most they can give him is 2 games. And even that can be appealed and I bet Doty will say that since he was forced to sit out 15 games already no more punishment is going to be allowed.

There is no physical evidence. The transcript of the first so called trial is already out there; paid for by Hardy's lawyers since there would have been none otherwise (and how you cannot have an official transcript of a trial is beyond me)

So frankly there is no evidence to be had.
