Hardy, Brent, and drafting Gregory all but prove Jason Garrett is little more then a puppet

Sounds like some people should just pick a new team to support really. Hardy has explained his situation several times, it appears some people just don't want to hear it regardless of the facts. As far as weapons, I thought that was our right as Americans to have them; the drunk driver part you win though. No point trying to convince anyone, and the pot smoker... Really that's all you got, he smokes weed so we he is a derelict? Get out of 1983, this is 2015, step up to the modern era.

cowboyboy is saying hardy had all these "automatic" weapons laying around. simply put, i seriously doubt it. to even own one means to apply for a permit from the government to do so and they will heavily scrutinize your past and put you through the ringer before allowing *anyone* to own an "automatic" weapon. so i'm simply asking how he knows these are "automatic" or if he's just blithering standard, uneducated lines.

but this is borderline a no-no in here so i'll drop it now.

The reports I heard said "automatic". But lets be honest here, who cares if they are automatic or not? The key word here was "weapons", not "automatic".

But hey, you learn something every day right? I just learned today that having a gun is only bad if its "automatic". And that the RKG beats and chokes his girl, kills his best friend drunk driving, and is bi polar and has a pot smoking problem. LOL

So I am really confused now.............Is a guy that quite football and didnt want to play anymore the RKG too? Because we trade for and just resigned McLain.

Wait.....I thought the RKG was ONLY about his love of playing football?

Lets just face the facts. Garretts message isnt getting the people that call the shots. His RKG rant is as hollow as anything else I have every heard.

That Jason Garrett is little more then a puppet and figure head. For all his RKG parroting, the Cowboys dont follow it. I applaud Garrett for helping make some changes in the way the Cowboys do things, but we all saw what the offense was like when he was in full command. And without our two great coordinators to run the football side of things, Garrett would have been jobless right now.

They are legally owned guns. Shoot I could find several in mine right now.

And legal has something to do with it?

Im pretty sure its the combination of:

-having that many guns out on your bed at one time
-choking and beating your girlfriend on the guns
-telling her you are going to kill her

since you choose not to educate yourself on the issue but find a way to twist **** around to fit your reality, there's no sense in going on here. "automatic" says he owns ILLEGAL GUNS, or ones VERY DIFFICULT to obtain, of which he did not.

since you insist on being the dancing fool, i'll move on now. have a wonderful life void of comprehension.

That you keep bringing up that they are automatic shows that you do.

That was never proven. She contradicted herself in court and flat out lied about a previous arrest by police on the stand about marijuana just flying out of her window.

Am all for the signing my man. I love the Hardy signing. And Jerry and stephen worked out a brilliant contract. My point was simply that Hardy is not Garretts RKG. If he says he is, then he's lying.

I am admittedly not a huge fan of the Hardy signing, but I think lumping Brent and Gregory in with him is ridiculous and reeks of trolling. Brent made a terrible mistake for sure, but he completely paid his debt to society and came back to the Dallas Cowboys with the blessing of Jerry Brown's family. There is not a single thing that points to Randy Gregory being anything other than a great teammate and he has asked for support from the team to help him get beyond his personal issues. He knows he needs help to succeed. These are two people that are only asking for a chance and I applaud the Dallas Cowboys for not only giving them the opportunity, but having a support system in place that can try to help them succeed.

I guess you cant have a conversation without cursing on throwing out insults. Did my comment hurt your feewings that bad? Poor guy.

Hey listen, Im going to make my point real easy for you.

...........I could care less if they are legal or automatic. They are guns. Period, end of story. And when you beat your girl, choke her, and then throw her on the guns, then that to me does not seem like the RKG. Now if you think that is the RKG that Garrett means, then you are fooling yourself.

You can still like Garrett and admit that is RKG mantra is not what the people in control always look for. Its about winning, not about listening to Garrett. Lets all be happy that Garrett is no longer in control of the offense. We see what could happen the first year he was no longer calling the shots there.

I see......so what exactly did he get suspended for?

I haven't seen any proof that Gregory is bi-polar. But I may have missed it. The Brent incident was an accident and it's worth noting that his best friends mother forgave him and encouraged the Cowboys to give him another chance. I think you might be a little too harsh on these matters however I support your rights to express your thoughts.

Why are you making so much fuss, just because you are afraid of guns? Why did you beat up your GF 3 years ago?

It may not have come out yet as "official" (nor should it as it is a private issue), but it certainly looks like it to me. He has mentioned anxiety before and that is how/why he smoked marijuana. I do not think he is part of the subculture that glorifies marijuana, not in the least. That distinguishes him a great deal from a lot of the gang bangers and the like that do.

They are lumped together because they have multiple and big off the field red flags and issues. Now with Brent, he not only killed his best friend drinking and driving, but he failed at least one other test when he was on probation. So he continued to drink and drive.

Im also for the signing of Hardy and the drafting of Gregory.

But lets also throw Randle in there. Stealing underwear? Cmon.............Bellichek would have cut him the next day. And certainly a guy like Mcclain that quit football after his a couple years in the league cant be the RKG that loves football right?

I hate lumping these three into the same class because each is a totally different level of "problem" child.

Brent made a horrendous decision in driving intoxicated and killing a friend. But clearly the intent wasn't there to kill his friend. It was a tragic mistake.

Gregory has a pot problem. He has never had any run ins with the law nor discipline problems at Nebraska.

Hardy, IMO, would be the best example of not being a RKG. I believe he roughed up his girlfriend. And I believe people who do that don't do it by accident. They have an intent in their actions.

I beat up my GF 3 years ago because I am the RKG. LOL

Actually, owning guns and beating your GF are fine if they done seperately. But beating your GF on the guns is bad. LOL

And Randle and McClain are they the RKG also? Just wondering your opinion on that. And lets go by the obvious definition of what the RKG is, not the squirming, laughable answer that Garrett gave after he was backed into the corner.

Well the only thing this particular thread did was point out another person that needed to go to good old ignore land.
