My definition of RKG is the right kind of guy to WIN
I agree that I care only about them winning.
But for my money, I just use the word "winners".
My definition of RKG is the right kind of guy to WIN
They are lumped together because they have multiple and big off the field red flags and issues. Now with Brent, he not only killed his best friend drinking and driving, but he failed at least one other test when he was on probation. So he continued to drink and drive.
Im also for the signing of Hardy and the drafting of Gregory.
But lets also throw Randle in there. Stealing underwear? Cmon.............Bellichek would have cut him the next day. And certainly a guy like Mcclain that quit football after his a couple years in the league cant be the RKG that loves football right?
i swear to god when i got up this morning i figured nothing would ever surpass the most stupid thing i have ever heard in my life.
i was wrong.
I guess you cant have a conversation without cursing on throwing out insults. Did my comment hurt your feewings that bad? Poor guy.
Hey listen, Im going to make my point real easy for you.
...........I could care less if they are legal or automatic. They are guns. Period, end of story. And when you beat your girl, choke her, and then throw her on the guns, then that to me does not seem like the RKG. Now if you think that is the RKG that Garrett means, then you are fooling yourself.
You can still like Garrett and admit that is RKG mantra is not what the people in control always look for. Its about winning, not about listening to Garrett. Lets all be happy that Garrett is no longer in control of the offense. We see what could happen the first year he was no longer calling the shots there.
Am all for the signing my man. I love the Hardy signing. And Jerry and stephen worked out a brilliant contract. My point was simply that Hardy is not Garretts RKG. If he says he is, then he's lying.
You are horrible with facts. Brent tested positive for marijuana he did not get caught for continuing to drink and drive. Please stop with this nonsense. It was testing required by his bail conditions.
And Randle and McClain are they the RKG also? Just wondering your opinion on that. And lets go by the obvious definition of what the RKG is, not the squirming, laughable answer that Garrett gave after he was backed into the corner.
That changes everything.
The guns weren't "automatic" and he failed a "drug" test.
RKG for sure.
It may not have come out yet as "official" (nor should it as it is a private issue), but it certainly looks like it to me. He has mentioned anxiety before and that is how/why he smoked marijuana. I do not think he is part of the subculture that glorifies marijuana, not in the least. That distinguishes him a great deal from a lot of the gang bangers and the like that do.
It is truly amazing that RKG is still misunderstood on this forum.
That Jason Garrett is little more then a puppet and figure head. For all his RKG parroting, the Cowboys dont follow it. I applaud Garrett for helping make some changes in the way the Cowboys do things, but we all saw what the offense was like when he was in full command. And without our two great coordinators to run the football side of things, Garrett would have been jobless right now.

LOL......you are right, I simply dont understand what right kind of guy is. If a women beater/automatic weapons, drunk driver/kill your best friend, bi polar/pot head are all the right type of guys, then I guess I simply dont get it. LOL
If those are the right kind of guys, then maybe you can explain to me what a RKG is. Waiting................Im all ears...................
.It seems to me that you haven't had the correct definition of RKG all this time. Like you thought it meant not having any off the field problems or legal issues, and so when the Cowboys signed Hardy, Ro and drafted Gregory, you assumed they weren't RKG by definition.
They are the RKG though. They love the game of football, work hard at it, and winning is very important to them.
Albert Haynesworth was never a RKG because he didn't love football and was lazy. Lawrence Taylor was a coke-head and was constantly having issues, but he was a RKG because football was everything to him and he wanted to be the best.
Legal issues were never a part of the equation. Only something that has to be worked through so they are available to play football. If they continue to have legal issues they won't be available to play football, so they won't have any worth to the team.
I don't know why you feel like it was good to get Hardy, Gregory, etc. because they will help the team so much and then at the same time think that Garrett did not want them for the same reason.
.
So McClain that quit football after a few years in the league, does he "love the game of football"? Is he the RKG?
As far as hardy and Gregory, they are not the RKG by any definition. Now if Garrett wants to feed you a load of nonsense about it ONLY being on the field stuff, then its up to you if you want to believe that. I'm not buying it.
RKG means someone that does the "right" things all the time. Clearly they dont always look for those type of people.

If you didn't get it with the explanation that I posted... then you aren't going to get it. Or, you simply hate Garrett and are trying to be contrary.
So, I'm out. Have a good time hating the coach for the next five years.
