Movies I want made

I'd love to see Happy Gilmore 2 just because I want to revisit the stupidity that I enjoyed years ago.
I also would like to see 28 Months Later.

You played Armored Core too? Nice ref! That would make for a good sci fi action flick bc it hasn't been done properly before; like you said Transformers and Pacific Rim isn't the same theme, etc.

I think the cast from Workaholics could put together a great "buddy" film similar to Hangover. The writing has only gotten stronger as the seasons have progressed and the three actors have a naturally seamless dynamic (they write their own episodes).

I may be the minority on this, but also wished they would have Villain inspired movies. There is a niche for the bad guy as the lead (Hollywood would surely give them some redeeming qualities). This structure could allow for more spicy plot and sub themes-social commentary that isn't possible with classic hero flicks. Could develop a deeper understanding as to "why" it matters when Wolverine fights Sabertooth. Or a Magneto lead film, etc. A break from the "family feel" of the Avengers and the newer superhero movies that have done well outside of Batman who already embraces more of what I am speaking of.

Loki is the perfect one to start with. It's been discussed.

Also, if you can make a Sex in the City movie....TWICE.... I can have my FRINGE movie.

This is a great thread.

I love anime. I would enjoy seeing a live action adaptation of Blood Plus. Not like that live action mess someone made of the original Blood: The Last Vampire anime movie either. Rather, a serious effort to write a screenplay based on the anime sequel series.

Luc Besson should do a sequel to Leon: The Professional and allow Natalie Portman to reprise her role. This time, Mathilda is the grownup hitwoman who protects an innocent from harm.

I would pay good money to see a decent sequel to The Exorcist. Sure, the original was a classic but no one has seriously tried to make a suitable successor to it. One of the worst Hollywood tragedies was casting a great actor like Richard Burton in Exorcist II and surround him with crap material to work with.

Wife tells me there is going to be a third Sex In The City movie.

I'm patiently awaiting the new Avatar bonus movie coming out in 2017. There's supposed to be three new ones by James Cameron.

Yeah I heard lol

I think Cameron signed deal for 3 movies from jump street. Was always the plan?

Look for Michelle Rodriguez to reappear. She is known got "coming back" for the dead.

Sigourney too! Iwa

For all you parents who have kids (2 lil girls) like me that love the movie Frozen, there'll be another one coming out.

No doubt about Rodriquez. Sam Worthington is definitely starring in it. Cameron is taking Avatar to new worlds with new creatures too.

Love Loki but hate that awful chessey uniform they gave him. Everyone else's uniforms were slick and well done. His looked like a campy 70's Batman flick or something. Like the actor and character though. EDIT: I just looked up some google images and I noticed I am mainly remembering his bull horns. Seems they should be about half the height just for aesthetic purposes; makes him look like a kid and a little goofy.

Lol

He has devil horns.... Meanwhile Thor never wears his helmet. He SHOULD in battle scenes!

I won't mind seeing a big screen version of True Blood. Don't know how they would write around Bill getting killed off though. I bet the first draft would fetch an NC-17 rating, lol.

Good topic Red. Another one I thought of would be Thundercats.

Ghosts of the Ostfront (about the WW2 Battles on the Russian Eastern Front)

Here's an eery part of that story (if you're in a rush, start listening from 1:27 to about 4 minutes but if you have the time or interest, download his entire several part podcast, its amazing)

Godfather 4 - I know, I know, part 3 was worst movie ever made ... Blah blah blah... Actually the story was awesome .... But Coppola just did it for money. Didn't put his heart into it.

Tv to movie

If they can make an entourage movie, x files movies, etc.
Then I want a FRINGE movie.

That's all I can think of right now. :)

Every time I watch the Godfather I or II, or some other great movies, I wonder why they can't make more great movies.

My conclusion that it is the fault of audiences. If Hollywood can just make crap and it sells, then why bother making something great.

The more people pay to see moronic movies like Batman (The Heath Ledger one was good but the others are crap), Avengers and all of that crap, the less likely Hollywood is to make more great movies.

TV has similar issues. The regular networks can't have anything great anymore because they have to appeal to the masses, most of which like crap. Luckily, the cable channels are putting out some good shows because they can have a narrow target audience.

The recent Pacino movie was decent (Danny Collins). Not great or anything, but much better than some Avengers crap.

Hell yeah. My roommate right at the end of college bought armored core for answer and I loved it. That opening cinematic sequence was super cool.
