Two movies screaming for squeals:
Silverado
The Incredibles

THE INCREDIBLES SEQUEL

In April 2015, Bird revealed to NPR that he has begun writing the screenplay for the sequel. In May 2015, Bird confirmed that the Incredibles sequel would be his next film following Tomorrowland. He also stated that the movie will not reflect trends in the superhero genre since the first film's release, explaining, "I don't think that kind of idea stays interesting for very long. ... For me, the interesting thing was never the superhero part of it. It was more the family dynamic, and how do superhero things play into that."

The novel Legend by David Gemmell. Sean Connery would have been perfect for Druss about fifteen or twenty years ago, not sure who could play it now.

Big Lebowski 2

Also, a Walter Sobchak documentary filmed in Raging Bull black and white would be fun.

Great thread!

"After Pearl"

It would feature what happened AFTER Dec. 7th, 1941.

There would be the drama of the cleanup, the recovery and the amazing feats done to rebuild not just the infrastructure there, but the morale. Just refloating the battleships (other than the Arizona and the training ship Utah) is an amazing story.

It would also show the 2nd Japanese attack on the Island that occurred in March, which no one talks about. And would culminate in the "Doolittle Raid" which inspired the nation and greatly unsettled the Japanese.

And I would hope it would put some light on the disgraceful commission that supposedly 'investigated' the attack and put all the blame on Kimmel and Short. They certainly deserved their share, but a lot of idiots in Washington should have been tossed as well. Tora Tora Tora did a good job of showing just how myopic and dumb all too many were before Dec 7.

I have always wanted to see Spielberg remake JAWS.....with all the new special effects technology, he could make the shark so realistic and scary. Also, Dreyfuss is still around and can either play the Chief or Quinn.

Speaking of Sharks......I would love to see a movie where sharks the world over all decide to go on a feeding frenzy (with a taste for human flesh) at the exact same time.....basically it starts off with scientists talking about how the population of sharks is almost completely depleted, due to overfishing and global climate changes. It is believed that they are all either extinct or near extinction. We went from a period of several shark attacks per year down to zero and remained that way for a few years. So, with no sharks in the water, people flock to the beaches in droves. Beaches the world over are flooded with people. Then, all of a sudden, the water temperatures change (warm water becomes cold, cold water becomes warm), crisp blue waters become green and murky. huge schools of fish swim right up to the coast, pinnipeds start acting erratic, and the coastal waters come to an almost calm...........the people, not knowing that this is a huge warning of impending danger, remain in the water by the millions. Now, we see a person pulled underwater, a pool of blood left, then another, and another. The people start to panic, and the feeding frenzy begins. For the next 30-45 minutes of the movie, you see carnage across the worlds beaches. After the initial massacre, the sharks remain for days, until the weather conditions change back to normal and they retreat back to their natural swimming locations........

I would also like to see them finish the Eragon movies, even if they are made for TV movies. I liked the first one, but they left it open.

I am not sure if I want it to be a movie series or a TV series, but I would love for a Justice League to come out.....DCs best heroes versus several of its best villains. I feel a series would be best to really build the characters, as well as add to the cast, as well as offer very meaningful flashbacks.

A great sports comedy. We haven't one in a long time.

Battle of the Planets (G-Force, Gatchaman)......I wonder if it can be made into a live action movie.....it would be cool if so. It is one of my favorite cartoons from my childhood

I can't see remaking jaws. Spielberg doing the point of view was just masterful. A remake would be just another movie.

It would be like a rocky remake.

Justice league is coming out, no?

I can think of a few movies I would never want to see made like Gumby: The Movie Part 2. Sat through the first one with a nephew of mine...torture!

Yes a sequel that is supposed to still have Hicks/Newt/Ripley (not cloned out Ripley).

I personally think Alien 3 ruined the franchise regardless of the director's cut. I am pretty pumped that Neil Blomkamp is doing the sequel.

I enjoyed Prometheus as well. Not everyone does, but it was good. Different. But good.

well, I am not a fan of remakes, but this one would be done by Spielberg himself.....so I would find it to be ok. He could use his grandmaster mind and the latest in special effects to make an even scarier movie. I mean the shark would look far more realistic.

as far as a justice league movie, think they are trying to get one together, not sure how much success they are having with it. I think a TV version would be outstanding.....

Roberts Rebellion Trilogy (Game of Thrones). Getting to see the Targaryen's reign, Rhaegar's true nature and what REALLY happened with Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen would be awesome!

The Mass Effect video game series is easily convertible to a movie series though I'm not sure how many on here are aware of the games.

They haven't started production, but the Justice League movie is scheduled for a 2017 release. They would probably start shooting in 2016.

I don't think they could improve upon Jaws. The closest they could come is if the did a shot-for-shot remake and the only possible improvement would be in the special effects. The special effect limitations and problems they had with the fake shark really is what made the movie. It forced Spielberg to film it another way. Had he had full access to a working robotic shark and advanced special effects he probably would have shot it in a different manner and it wouldn't have been as suspenseful or good.

well I would expect a shot for shot remake....but only improved special effects. while it will not be as classic as the original, it will still bring so much for movie goers. and I am willing to bet, people will flock to the theatre to see it......
