Movies I want made

Since Hollywood is all about the Remakes I will list some movies I would like to see them remake.

Flash Gordon
The Warriors
Battle Beyond the Stars
April Fools Day
Ice Pirates
The RE-Animator
Cannonball Run
Dragonslayer (old man yelling burning water lol)

Any remake of Flash Gordon must have the Queen soundtrack from the original movie. I think Monica Bellucci would have been perfect for Ornella Muti's role (Princess Aura) if the movie had been remade 15 years ago.

Oh yes...the Soundtrack would be great.

And I KNOW they went for the hokey/cheesy space ships to fit the old cartoon strips but still I would hope they would update those and still keep the other humor in the movie.

On a side note...Saw that The rock wants to do a remake of big trouble in little china....Not feeling that idea.

B-movie feel was perfect for the original movie. I can remember my first time seeing the movie. At the beginning I was thinking it would be a joke but I thought it was a great movie by the end.

I don't see any reason why someone couldn't do a remake that was more standard looking. It would need the right cast and director to pull it off. IMO, Anna Kendrick has the right combination of serious and funny traits to play Dale Arden.

EDIT: Johnson should leave Big Trouble alone. That's a Kurt Russell classic.

I thought I heard about the a remake of the Warriors years ago but came to find out the director died a few years ago and it seems the project has been shelved.

It would require some creativity but I wouldn't mind seeing a movie version of FOX's Space: Above and Beyond.
