LeMe may be the best current NBA player but a man doesn't go saying that about himself. For that reason, I'm glad he lost again. That's why a lot of people don't like him. He's all about himself.

dang... you started a new thread about it...lol
you had an itchy trigger finger....
haha.

like i said... I'm not mad at him.. in a tough situation it's mind over matter.. he was trying to convince himself that he could carry the team.. and raise up his teammates in the process....

yeh, and I definitely disagree with "he's all about himself"...

I think it deserves its own thread. It's all about character and being humble. The more people exposed to that the better.

Cav's already the favorites to win it all next year in Vegas.

If Kyrie's knee is healthy, (hope he's healthy) and they resign love and TT, they should be. They would be deep with scoring and defense.
That team would have won this year.... I'm sure they will make some tweaks...
Not counting out Dallas, Hou, & SA ..... but I wouldn't be surprised at a rematch.

Clips as well... but I haven't read anything from any clips fans here.

Honestly, anyone who knocks Lebron for anything after this series (or really any series) is just grasping at straws. The guy is the best basketball player on the planet. Saying it doesn't make it so. Being it makes it so. I have no problem with him saying it. It's better than the "both teams played hard" nonsense that Rasheed did.

I like LeBron. I like him a lot. But his 'tude is getting annoying.

He lost, lost, won, won, lost and lost nba titles. He is very good. Great at times. But he ain't jordan... Aint Kobe.

You can blame this year on injuries for the loss. But the two losses in Miami. That sways this as LeBron is less.... Than more.

Instead of being 2-4 in finals he should be 4-2 or at least 3-3. It's on him.

What's wrong with his attitude? He acknowledged one time that he thinks he's the best player? Jordan called himself Black Jesus. Kobe threw teammates by name under the bus. They had great "'tudes."

And great "at times?" That's laughably underselling him almost to the point of not even acknowledging. He's lead his team in points, rebs and assists in the playoffs 30+ times. The next highest is like 12. So, if he's great "at times," then other players are great WAY less often. You can dislike him for whatever reasons you like, but trying to classify him as "good, not great" is just inaccurate, but I guess it's all subjective.

As for not being Jordan or Kobe, that's also subjective - but Jordan played in six finals with a HOFer beside him in Pippen, and three of them he had two with Pip and Rodman. Kobe obviously always had help. In 2007 and 2015, Lebron had a lineup around him consisting of guys who aren't even in the top 30 of people in the league TODAY. He was, quite literally, 1 on 5. Honestly, of the four finals losses, I feel like the only one that the Heat lost to an underdog was against Dallas. Going in, the Heat were probably the better team, but Dallas was just playing far better at the time. Against the Spurs in 2014, the Spurs were just the better team and were a playoff buzzsaw (not to mention the top seed in the league), and James was dragging along a broken down Wade.

A healthy Kyrie this year might have been enough for the Cavs. Sorry, LeBron is great player, the best, but playing point guard while having to do everything for that many minutes takes a real toll on him.

Kyrie would have been able to push the ball to relieve some pressure off of LeBron. Dellavedova just looks too out of control at times, not to mention, he makes some really poor decisions.

I agree. He's brilliant, and carries, and has carried a burden that many players can not, or have not. He is a great balance of skills, and is one of the most unselfish superstars i've ever witnessed. Last's years team was old, injured, and without balance. This years team was devastated with injuries. What he did with both was amazing.

He is one of the top five players I've witness during my life of watching basketball (since 80' as a kid), and very well has a chance to be mentioned as the best by the time he retires. (MJ always for me:D)

I understand that fans are wired to hate other teams stars, or look for a reason to call athletes out on their every action.....But from Going to Miami (Bill Russell told him in order to be great you have to win), to standing for Trayvon Martin, To announcing "Donald Sterling has no place in our league, To playing a crucial role in the NBAPA, To heading back to Cleveland, Ohio, an area that desperately needed him financially and emotionally.... These were all tough decisions, bumpy roads, and he's handled them well.

It's easy to judge him from your home, throw him under the bus. But I have tremendous respect for him. And for those who hate that he said "Im the best basketball player in the world." Micheal would have said it, and guess what, its true...... He's the best since Micheal, and if another player could say it, and be confident about it... they would.

side note: Rasheed handled the media brilliantly.....hahaha...

That being said, I truly believe if the Cavs were at full strength, they could play big, because they could put the pressure back on GS. Being able to score in multiple ways, being more efficient with Love and Irving. GS would be forced to match them if they were healthy, not the other way around.

I think it's possible that the Cavs might have given Golden State a better series but hard to really say. I mean, the more bigs you put on the court, the bigger the matchup problem is defensively. Irving definitely would have helped because that give you another scorer to take the pressure off James. Love is a defensive liability so I don't know that he would have help much. I never felt like the Cavs problems in this series was low post scoring or even rebounding. I felt like they just weren't good enough defensively to match up with the Cavs defensively. So long as GS was shooting the three well, it was going to be hard for Cleveland to stop them, regardless of who you put on the floor. Having said that, the only chance the Cavs probably had was to go big. Matching up with GS small is a disaster waiting to happen. They are the best small ball team in the league in years. When you go small on them, you only invite failure because you are never going to be able to play that style of game as well as they do. Your only chance is to make GS adjust. I don't know if the Cavs would have won if they had had those guys but it certainly would have given them a much better chance.

I think you are looking at it the wrong way.. Imo of course. If Cleveland was more efficient offensively, could stretch the floor with bigs, they would have been able to reverse the pressure and force GS to match them, because than they would be able to make shots, and secure rebounds.. they would be able to run off of defensive boards because Love can throw pin point outlet passes and push the pace off of the rebounds. Not to mention flexibility lineups to go small with TT, and Love, yet still be able to score. This finals warped what many think Cleveland is. if they are full strength, the warriors are the one with the matchup problems.. not Cleveland.

The series was close without Andy V, Love, and Kyrie.... those guys brings skills that are matchup problems for other teams.... Think about how close this series was without two allstars... and think about how Kyrie controlled that 1st game on one leg.... Don't think "Small" is the future... versatility is the future... and with those three players Cleveland would have had that.
