I agree. That kid could have been special. So much depends on the situation you get drafted into. Tony was lucky because he, for the most part, has had stability in Dallas with his HC. Although, you have to give Tony credit as well. He could have left but he decided to come to Dallas, he decided to stay in Dallas and now he's at a point in his career where he's starting to reap the rewards of his decisions. Good for Tony Romo.

Obviously these 5 pages show how ridiculous it was for ANY Cowboy fan to EVER say that E-Lie was better than Romo! EVER. E-Lie IS Jay Cutler, just in a different uniform.

Was being the operative word. Eli was bether than Romo during his Super Bowl years. However, some fans tend to view "the best" arguments statically as if they can never change. I don't. Quarterbacks who played great and better one year may not be and do the same the next year.

Eli has never been better than Romo. He did have a very nice run for the second Super Bowl.

I'm not going to turn this into a was Eli better than Romo. We've done this previously, and it's a matter of opinion and what people consider the measure of a great or winning quarterback.

A great QB holds NE's high powered offense to 14 (averaged 38.6 in the regular season) and 17 pts (averaged 32.1 in the regular season) in 2 Super Bowls. So Eli is a great QB.

I used to believe Cutler had it when he was coming out of college and maybe he just lost it as his health declined. At this point he seems to be getting worse and not getting better so I just don't see him as a potential upgrade.

The guy has one of the strongest arms in the league but one of the worst decision making skills of somebody with his physical gifts as a passer. He's already had a change of scenery, different coaches, yet he's regressing.

Dude is damaged. Diabetes can really affect someone's overall mental stability and it's a shame because coming out of college he looked like the next great one...
