Hardy Suspension Reduced to 4 games *Merge*

Why would the possession of the firearms warrant a suspension? Is there something in the CBA that makes it so?

It shouldn't, I agree... but I heard that it is part of it.

It certainly could be wrong though.

What, pre-season is not live game action? Or are they going to replace pre-season with flag football?

Hardy is not some rookie, dude...

Preseason is not the same. He won't play many minutes and the hype is not there. And he'll then not be allowed near the team for the first 4 weeks. He will be on his own to maintain his conditioning.

and you continue to be ignorant to due process. case was dismissed in a higher court. You sure love to wave your hands at an aberration of NC law.

This is what pisses me off about the NFL. In legal terms, you are innocent until proven guilty, but with Goodell and his cronies, you are guilty even after proven innocent or the charges are dismissed.

Like I said, he is a veteran and know the game. From all accounts from what I hear, he is a hard working dude and brings the heat even in practice.

After so long I didn't think the NFL was going to reduce it. He should take the 4 games and wash his hands of this mess. Big help to our defense. He will only miss the first month, will most likely still lead the team in sacks.

The NFL had pictures of Holder where she had some bruising and scratches. What upsets me about that is that in the Bench Trial, Hardy's friend who was there testified that Holder jumped up in the air and landed in the bathtub (which is what the stat's witness that said she heard someone slamming someone against the wall). He also testified that Holder did other things that would cause scratching and bruising.

If that is indeed the case, Holder would have bruising and scratches that could be photographed just as easily as if Hardy did do that to her. Those injuries in the pictures could be either from him or from self inflicted crazyness.

We don't know who is lying and who is telling the truth, and really that is my point. Neither does the NFL. If she was just trying to get people to think that Hardy did that to her... the "proof" that the NFL has would look exactly the same as it would if Hardy had done it to her.

Pictures of some scratches and bruises proves absolutely nothing.

But the ex-domestic violence attorney the NFL hired to do the investigation seems to believe Holder didn't do that to herself like Hardy's friend testified to in court. So they slammed him.

He wasn't proven innocent. The charges were dismissed because the prosecution lost their witness. He could be innocent, but he could also be guilty. We will never truly know the truth in his situation.

And he has a gigantic chip on his shoulder. He's in a contract year. From all I've heard about the guy, I see no reason to doubt his ability to be ready when dallas takes the field versus the patriots.

Well, I hope one good thing comes out of this, well, two things.

1. Hardy learns a hard lesson.

2. He gives back to the Cowboys for sticking with him.

1. Maybe. Being kept from your job and the loss of lots of money can do that to even an immature man.

2. I seriously doubt it. I don't see it in him. I could be wrong, but I'm generally not.

When they can't even bring charges, you are innocent.

You could argue that being found Not Guilty is not the same as innocent.

I'm not talking about money....I'm talking about contributing to the team, which he will.

A few teams are going to really worry when he hits the field.

Four games would give Gregory 4 starts. I think he'd supply as much pressure
as last yearwith Crawford demanding attention and Lawrence ready.
Ain't so bad.
