NFLPA leaning toward filing Hardy appeal

Oh wow, first I've heard that the deadline is today. Get-r-done!

not sure what the downside is in filing a court appeal. It's not like additional games could be added. Possibly delaying a suspension while the process plays out but couldn't the appeal be pulled back if it appears as if it will drag into a critical part/time of the schedule?

The NFL under Roger Goodell reminds one far too often of Politics. A real shame on the head of the league and American Justice.

The more I've learned about these appeals, apparently it's not that easy to get a federal judge to take these on. You have to have a REALLY compelling reason for it.

Brady may very well not even get his case heard. Maybe Hardy, too.

Yeah, that was kind of the joke.

Hopefully, it's taken that way and not that I'm making light of domestic violence, because I'm not !

That's what they all say! And so eager to deny!

I kid...I kid!

Still thinking the nflpa wants to wait till the Contempt hearing is accomplished.

Perhaps, but what purpose does it serve Hardy to wait until then? It'll be too late to affect the first four games.

He could sue and seek an injunction. Like Pat Williams did a few years ago. Or he could sue, seek an injunction, and use it as a way to seek a settlement.

Since Contempt hearing is Aug 13 and start of season is a month later hopefully there's time if that's the plan.
