He could sue and seek an injunction. Like Pat Williams did a few years ago. Or he could sue, seek an injunction, and use it as a way to seek a settlement.

Since Contempt hearing is Aug 13 and start of season is a month later hopefully there's time if that's the plan.

So many cases to hear, so little time.

If players could actually behave themselves, none of this would be at hand.

That would mean that the rest of mankind had finally learned to behave. (And I'd be out of a job)

If I'm Hardy, I would be livid if the NFLPA does not file an appeal on his behalf. His criminal record should be completely expunged by this time next month, which means he will have no arrest record, no mugshot, absolutely nothing in the eyes of the State of North Carolina. Per the letter of the CBA, two games should be the absolute max of what he should serve and even that might be a challenge with no legal basis to enforce it.

His legal team earned their money for sure.

The NFLPA conducts the legal maneuverings, but I think the decision is his to make.

I would bet anything that Hardy is conflicted; he knows he would win, but he also risks looking worse in the public eye if those pictures ever got out. The one might not be worth the other.

Guessing he didn't do it since it is 8pm on the EC?
Reports that today was some sort of deadline were inaccurate. He still has over 2 months.

Safe to say, he'll either do it or not do it without waiting the full 2 months though.

Yeah, that was kind of the joke.

Hopefully, it's taken that way and not that I'm making light of domestic violence, because I'm not !

I enjoyed both the execution and the intention of it. I laughed. I laughed hard.

The NFLPA can file the lawsuit even if Hardy does not wish to do so.

The 7 pictures taken of Nicole Holder after Hardy roughed her up, which have been described as showing her badly beaten and bruised, head to toe.

Yet the DA only charged him with a misdemeanor and then dropped the charges.

I wouldn't be shocked but I doubt he wins the case. I'm happy with 4.

Rogah still going on about the pictures, in spite of the fact that police listed her injuries as minor in the report and she declined medical attention.

I'm not sure of the accuracy of this information. As it stands now his suspension starts Sept 4 and is over after the game on Oct 4. He needs to file this thing pretty quick if he is going to get an injunction to play while the court is addressing his case.
